The people who work here are really friendly! I had a Texas Style Spud - barbecue on a baked potato - and it was tasty and satisfying. My wife had a CB (or CK, per the receipt) Ranch Potato, and said it was really good, but the ranch is divisive; it gives the chicken/bacon/chives/cheese toppings good flavor, but isn't good on the actual potato. Good to know. My daughter had a salad from the bar, and no news is good news. So we all enjoyed our visit, and no doubt will be back. read more

Our family LOVES Jason's Deli. We stopped here for lunch while visiting A&M. The staff here were GREAT! The gentlemen at the registers were awesome. Plenty of seating. We had a booth, which was a bit tight for 5 people. Should have gotten some tables. NBD. I got the salad bar, my husband got the New York Yankee and our kiddos got the kid's cheese pizza. We find the experience and food at Jason's Deli locations to be consistently good and this visit was no exception. We came in to grab lunch before heading to the Texas A&M football game. My husband did the half sandwich (Ham & Salami Muffaletta) with the salad bar. Their salad bar offerings were fresh and provided a great variety. I enjoyed the Smokey Jack Panini. It had great flavor. I like how they offer baked chips as an option for your sandwich side. Of course I enjoyed a soft serve ice cream code before we left! I ordered delivery from Jason's Deli and got the worst sandwich and customer service for $33.84. I ordered the club royale and asked for avocado slices. I got huge avocado chunks! The croissant was falling apart due to the large amount of Dijon mustard! It was so bad, the toothpick couldn't even hold it together! I asked for chips & a fruit cup. No chips. Excuse was they substituted my chips for fruit. The cheese was melted until it looked like rubber! I called to speak to a manager and I don't believe the person I spoke to was the manager at all! I only ever had Jason's Deli when it was catered and was surely disappointed with their chicken salad sandwich. I figured their other options were easier, but I first have to preface with how strange and distasteful their chicken salad filling is. Pineapple in the chicken salad filling is just strange... But since then, I have avoided the chicken salad and explored their other options in store! And how wondrous it is! On my first visit, I ordered a soup and sandwich combo. The price of the combo is normal, not too expensive (like Blue Baker). The Mediterranean wrap I got was lacking flavor, so I had to stop by the salad bar to doctor it up with some balsamic vinegarette. The seasonal Harvest Sweet Potato soup was so good. I really like sweet potato, and soft pulled pork pieces. It was not too heavy either. Very tasty. I recommend trying this before fall/winter is over. Oh, and I really like their flatbread crackers too. Good to eat with soup. I also ate it as a late night healthy snack :-) I came back with my parents later. My mom got the salad bar and LOVED it! She was so excited by everything you can get, all of which were very fresh. Mixed greens, spinach, basic lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, pasta salad, potato salad, croutons, cheeses, bell peppers, all types of sauces, (mixed) nuts, party snack mix. I really like their cornbread mini muffins and their gingerbread mini muffins. Awesome possum, I always try and snag these. Another great thing is the free ice cream you can get when you're done. It's self serve so you can get however much you can handle after your meal. Vanilla, chocolate, or swirl; cone or dish. They also have chocolate sauce. I like to add some of the fruit salad to my ice cream. Another plus is that if you do the survey on the receipt and you bring it back with the code, you can get a free cookie or $2 off delivery. I got the cranberry oatmeal cookie, and this was soo good. A little sweet and buttery for my standards (I bake healthy), but I gotta say it totally knocked down my previous favorite bakery Blue Baker (sorry BB, I still love your sweet breads!). This oatmeal cranberry cookie did not have too much oatmeal, had a good amount of plump juicy tart cranberries, some chopped walnuts for texture and flavor, and a wonderfully soft texture. Recommended! So, overall, I must admit that this place is my favorite deli place in town now. Only docked for the chicken salad and bland wrap. read more

I took off 2 stars for asking for a tip on the credit card machine. I'm ordering from a counter and there are no waiters. I'm not sure why they are asking for a tip when they are just making the food. Pay your workers a decent wage instead of pressuring the customers to tip. read more

This is my go-to restaurant when I want to eat healthy. My colleagues and I get together for lunch every Thursday, and we usually go to Hopdoddy's, but I wanted healthy yesterday, so I suggested Jason's. I usually get the salad bar - it's got a plentiful selection and it's reasonably priced. It needs to be said that Jason's has REALLY GOOD GUMBO. I am a Cajun food fanatic, and Jason's executes on the gumbo. The other "soups" I've tried there are not great (had the lobster chowder yesterday). The service is always fast and professional. I've been here probably 10 times in the last six months and I've never had an issue of any kind. It would be nice if they delivered your food to you instead of them giving you a buzzer, and having to go get it yourself. But that's not a deal-breaker for me. read more

As my side I chose the blue corn tortilla chips and salsa. They were underwhelming, I wouldn't recommend them. The parking lot there is not the best. I'll never forget the first time I ate at this Jason's. It was a Friday night before the Aggies hosted Tech (football) and I walked in about 30 minutes before closing time. Three-quarters of the restaurant had small lunchboxes covering them and they were beginning to prepare catering packages. There were 100s of bags starting to be stuffed. It was an impressive operation to seen. And, even though I'd been to several dozens Jason's over the years it reiterated how much people like this place. This Jason's, like all locations, does a great job at delivering consistently good soups, loaded potatoes, sandwiches and a salad bar we all love. And, in College Station, where finding anything healthy might be a chore, Jason's brings hope, value and freshness, stuff you'll encounter every time, whether it just opened, is in a lull between meals or minutes from closing time. read more

Wife and I walked in at 1:15 pm. It was pretty busy, most of the tableS were taken. But, they had two registers open, making it quicker. We ordered a chef's salad, with no olives, and split it. The young lady at the register repeated the order and said "chicken" salad. I said I had ordered CHEF salad. SHe made the correction. The order came out in less than five minutes. It was correct. There was plenty of hAm and Turkey. It was all fresh. We added carrots, sunflower seeds and mushrooms from the salad bar. We picked up somE wheat cracKers and some seeded wafers. We refilled our ranch dressing once. We refIlled our drinks once. The black currant tea is my favorite. We finished the salad and got us an ice cream cone. This is a really nice Jason's. It was very clean and the busy boys kept the table clear and clean. It was a Sunday afternoon, so the place was covered up with folks. The salad kiosk is gone. If you want to use such, you will need to down load another app. I really hate that. I have some many apps now that I really don't want one more... especially one that I will only use on occasion. I won't be going back here, again. Went about a month ago for lunch, and spent too much money on pretty bland/average food, or so I thought. Already off-putting. Well, later that night I got violently ill and it lasted til the following morning. Had to keep going to the bathroom to deal with the situation. My meal from Jason's deli was literally the last food I had put in my system. I am confident I got Food Poisoning from the food THEY served me. Not okay. Well the next morning I called up and explained what happened. Didn't even get so much as an apology. I pressed the lady and explained that it was the last food I had in my system, and she confidently told me there was no way their food made me sick. No refund, no sorry, no nothing.
