I wanted to try out this place, there smoothies look interesting online. I met my friend for dinner here. I ordered the Glow Up smoothie, which was not on the menu in the store, but they did have it. It was just ok. The flavors were bland to me. Maybe it's my tastebuds, I took 3 sips and threw it away. For my entree I tried the teriyaki shrimp with no rice add black beans and vegetables. After a long day of travels I wanted something healthy in the form of a salad. I looked up salads in the area that I was staying in and found this place. I saw that they also had juices and I was down to try the juices along with the salad. The price was ok but maybe if ordering protein in the salad there should be a bit more for the total price. We got the beet salad and it was tasty and filling. We ordered two (2) of the juices (daily detox and the kale cleanse) they were also good and tasted fresh (made of fresh ingredients). The only thing with the juices are that they appear to be well blended up but maybe need straining to get the percipients layer or froth layer out. Also, the juices develop a gas which you can hear when or if you remove the top of the plastics cup. However, I think this is to be expected from fresh blended juices. Waited 30 minutes for a bowl. If the chicken wasn't going to be ready for that long, then tell us next time. Would've went somewhere else. Luckily they refunded us and still gave me the meal, but 30+ minutes for food is absolutely ridiculous. Ask next time how long your meal might take, just in case you have plans. read more

This was our first visit to Chop Shop, and unfortunately it will be our last. We ordered the green curry chicken, and the sauce had a strong citrus flavor. Since my husband is allergic to mango, we asked if the dish contained any. The employee came back and said yes, which made us worry because he had already taken a small bite. I checked the menu and saw no mention of mango. Later, the manager told us it was actually pineapple--which also wasn't listed--so we spent most of the meal uneasy about a potential allergic reaction. While eating my Korean steak bowl, I bit into something extremely hard--hard as a bone. When I showed the manager, she said it looked like a peanut. I asked her to feel it so she could see how rock-hard it was. She apologized, but didn't offer anything until I asked for my meal to be refunded, as I had only eaten half before the incident. What felt especially disappointing was that the manager had just been at the table next to us commenting on a dog, but never checked on my husband after the allergy concern. Overall, the experience was unsettling and handled poorly. We won't be returning. read more

Decided to try this new place out on Century Square. I orderd the Hot Honey Chicken Hummus Bowl and it was delicious. I did sub brown rice for sweet potato and it gave that extra sweetness as well. The prices/bowls remind me a bit of cava but they have a lot of variety which is a plus. This is def a higher end "fast food" but the quality is there. read more

TOTAL RIP OFF. We ate at ChopShop at noon 8/23 -move in weekend. You'd think they'd be on their A-game. I order Greek salad and the lettuce was gross. I returned and sited that my husband's lettuce (spring mix instead of romaine) looked ok and asked for Greek with that lettuce mix. They brought me a beet salad instead. Both our salads had 5 cube size beets and two slivers of apple, so it basically a bowl of lettuce. Dressing was good but serious lack of ingredients listed on menu. Overpriced McDonalds salad. Skip it and go to Salata or Cava. Really disappointing. read more

As we dropped off our son at A&M today my wife and kid wanted to stop at the original chop shop. I noticed about 3-4 reserved 15 minute parking spaces so we parked in front of one without a reserve sign. Little did we know after having our meal which lasted approx. 30 mins we got to our vehicle with a nice citation for $25 due to going over the Free 15 min parking allowed. I noticed other cars also having a citation including the car next to ours in which two students were caught by surprise. There's no notices of this which are visible to your customers so event though this is not your rule you agreed to it through your lease with this property so it would be a nice gesture to post this somewhere in your establishment so students who are on a fixed income do not have to deal with these types of nonsense rules in my opinion. Super cute place! Heard about it from a few friends and decided to try it. Lots of healthier type options which I liked, but still tasted great! I got The Club with no onions. It was great and they even realized they forgot to put on tomatoes before I even realized and brought them out to me immediately! I also didn't think the prices were too bad for the portion sizes. Overall great atmosphere and would definitely come back here. Great lunch spot for friends and loved the variety. read more

Got the chicken teriyaki bowl, and it was delicious! The chicken is pretty tasty and tastes much better than fast food places. Everything was cooked well, to the point where I could see that each ingredient was cooked with care. However, I thought the brussel sprouts could be cooked longer because I could taste a bit of raw bitterness. The portion is good for the price and can be split up into two meals depending on how much you eat. Yes, this is something that can be made cheaper at home - but you're not only paying for the food, but for the cost of the ingredients, the time and preparation it takes to cook, the cooks, the servers, and the rest of staff. The food business is difficult here, so let's support the restaurant properly. Keep up the good work :) read more
