If you're thinking of going to this dentist RUN AWAY!!! They are money-hungry and will bill for things that they didn't provide or bill for things you didn't ask for. I suggest you check your bills if you're going here. I paid a balance in full over four months ago and they just decided, out of the blue to charge me for something I already paid for. I was supposed to have a $50 credit off that invoice for something they never provided but billed for and the credit was never applied despite me asking a handful of times to have it credited. Seriously...there are better dentist offices out there. do not go/To pushy. Use care credit to pay your bill if you can't afford it very pushy on the credit. Tell you one price one month then the next month tell you a completely different price and then charge you a different price/ billed way to much/ billed insurance company more than what they told mel 2 months now mouth still hurts/ very unhappy/ looks like they used old tools to pull teeth out/not recommend/ said my insurance covered all expenses and they denied it/would not go back there again/then they wanted me to come back in two months and get the bottoms done. Too bad I didn't check on them before I went 6/28/23. I was taken back for X-rays then taken to another room, where I waited a hygienist came in poked around ( she was the nicest person I encountered). Said dentist would be in? I'm thinking every other dentist I've been too comes in AFTER cleaning at that time he looks at X-ray and checks out what he sees. At that time he would give you any suggestions on what he feels needs done or says all is good. After dentist came in poked around, I was told the office manager would be in to give me my plan, I said I came in to get my teeth cleaned? I'm sure you can guess what I was told, I need a periodontal cleaning and with INSURANCE that would cost $374, I said NO THANKS, I'll just get a regular cleaning. I was told they could not do that? I said no thank you , I'll get the regular cleaning, office manager told me that wasn't possible I'd have to pay $372. I said no thank you I'll just take the regular cleaning. I wast told that wasn't not possible. I had to do what he wanted or take it wouldn't do anything so I walked out. Would absolutely give no stars if possible, please read the other reviews and realize they're all still correct before coming here. My appointment got rescheduled 3 times in the same day (3 different phone calls) and the assistant who took my x-rays literally took like 20 because she couldn't get it right and cut the bottom of my tongue with the plastic around the piece they put in your mouth because she was pressing so hard. read more

PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS HERE AND TAKE THEM SERIOUSLY. If I could give zero stars I would. Literally a laughable dentist's office that was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY and playing rap music across the facility. There were literal dirt stains on all of the walls and the tools they attempted to put in my mouth had stains all over them. My stomach was sick sitting in their disgusting office chairs and looking at their outdated equipment. My fiancé made a joke that it looked like someone gave birth in one of their waiting room chairs, it was that gross. Not to mention, I have seen a dentist every 6 months for the past 12 years and take pretty dang good care of my teeth. So much, past dentists have raved about the care I take and I have never even had a cavity. I went to this place today as a new patient for a routine cleaning because I am so anal about them and am temporarily helping my sick grandparents who live in Jasper....and suddenly this dentist tells me I have FOUR cavities and need all this deep lazer cleansing that my insurance does not cover (WHAT?!) They then proceed to try to yell at me for not going to the dentist when I was legit just at my normal (much more professional and CLEANER dentist) 6 months ago and had no issues. They try to convince me that my previous dentist wasn't doing a good job and get this....tell me I need over $1k in work WITH INSURANCE. When I asked to see my xrays where all this build up was supposedly happening in my teeth, the assistant kept saying "well you can hardly see it, but it's here and here." and "well it's not that bad, but it's here in the pics" and she proceeded to point to nothing on the screen. My fiancé and I looked at each other like, "so is it bad or not? you are contradicting yourself" Before you give these people a DIME of your money, let me just say, in my 12 years of having dentist work with insurance, I have never left the dentist without paying more than $40 for the extra fluoride they can offer and that's even after a deep cleaning and small cosmetic work. Please save yourself the trip from these scammers and filthy facility. Huge waste of my time this morning and I hope I didn't end up with some disease from their filth and dirty tools. Makes me sick thinking about if I was dumb enough to actually agree to have them drill into my never-before-been-drilled-in teeth for work I didn't need. The whole experience was so bizarre, it ended with me storming out of their building and just waiting another few months to get back to my real dentist. They need to be shut down. read more

The dentist are rude, they have different dentist that work there and they are not on the same page. the front desk people are not quite knowledgeable. I don't understand how the dentist did not allow the numbing gel to take effect before he started injecting the shots into my daughter's mouth... also they don't allow parents to be in the room even if your child is a minor... the whole process was horrible and I would never recommend this office not even to my enemies! 0/10 do not recommend! find somewhere better! read more

I arrived for my appointment on time , filled out paper work and waited about an hour before being taken back. Assistant took c-rays of my mouth and took me to an exam room. After awhile a African American dentist walked in looked at my x-rays. He never introduced himself to me! He took a dental pick and poked around at my teeth.He spoke only to the Dental assistant and walked out. Office manager was suppose to discuss my dental plan with me. I sat in waiting room for another hour and finally she handed my to plan to receptionist. Receptionist gave it to me w/o any explanation or follow-up appointment. I wish I would have read the reviews before I made an appointment. All the negative reviews I experienced myself. The worst dentist office I have ever been to. Remember folks they are in this business just for the money. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When they show you the cost sheet, they talk to you about it in front of everyone in the waiting room so everyone in the office can hear.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a filling fall out and the tooth broke, so I was going to have to have the tooth extracted. The plan they presented to me was x-rays and extraction which my insurance was going to pay for but, they wanted to put some minerals in to stop bone loss and that would be 275.00 and my insurance would not pay for that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I told them at 78 years old I felt like I would just skip that procedure and that is when they got sideways with me. I would never go back nor recommended this place to anyone! I showed up for an appointment on Thursday may 7th doors were locked. Then I got a text the following Friday saying I had a 12pm appointment, when I called to say it was a mistake the office assistant assured me that I was mistaken and she had taken the call and remembered making the appointment. I said I would never make a noon appointment I work till 1230pm. She then informed me they do pediatric dentistry on Thursday so I couldn't have had an appointment. I said there were 2 other ppl there who were angry because no one called. Then she said maybe our care team rescheduled when they called, I said no one called me and you said I couldn't of had an appointment that day. On my initial appointment before this they said I didn't qualify for financing but when I talked to someone else they said they have 3 different financing options. So after this disorganized mess I still have a painful tooth, that they were supposed to pull with no antibiotics given I wouldn't trust them or tell anyone else to read more

After speaking with Jasper Family Dental on Friday the 23rd and confirming my daughters dental appointment on Monday April 26th at 10 am. I show up on Monday for her appointment at which time they tell me that there isn't a dentist available for her insurance. I said, so you guys didn't think to call and tell me this before I took her out of school, drive 20 minutes to get here and then now have to drive 20 minutes back? They said no. This is the 6th time this has happened. Where they either wait until I'm there and checking in to tell me that her appointment time has changed or tell me that it's been canceled all together. This place is the absolute worst. Disgusting environment, rude af people. They deserve to be shut down. read more

This is the only review you need to read. I have been a dental assistant for 10 years, and a life long resident of this town. This office is BY FAR THE WORST AND MOST DISGUSTING office I have ever worked at. I'm honestly ashamed to even admit it, but people deserve to know. They also bribe and pay their employees to get them 5 star reviews. The employees are amazing and work their tails off. The owners of the company and the Dr.s they hire ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY you will be diagnosed for fillings that aren't there, and procedures that aren't necessary just so they can make money. You aren't patients. You are just a dollar sign to them. That is not my code of ethics. They book so many patients at once there isn't enough hand pieces and or they are broke, so the dr just tells them to wipe them down instead of waiting for the proper sterilization process, and if the employee tries to do other wise they get yelled at. There are so many more things I could say but that would take a book. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE! If you have children's Medicaid take them to Rayburn, or make the drive to Lufkin. They go above and beyond to make my family and I comfortable and they have never pressured me into anything I didn't want done. I will not go back again. Went in for a cleaning, decided to get the deep cleaning they recommended. $400 later had to point out they missed an area, even after they worked on it again, could still feel plaque in that spot. At that price teeth should have been sparkling! It took 3 visits for them get the teeth bleaching trays correct, I gave up and took the 3rd set even tho still not a great fit. Then came the heavy invisalign sales pitch. On the positive, most of the staff was friendly. read more
