If you've never been when it's frozen over I would highly recommend coming during their kite festival which also happens during the art shanty exhibits. If you show up to the kite festival on a whim, no worries, the park will have kites for sale. I would highly encourage coming with footwear that has good traction or added cat tracks to get secure grip on the ice.

Both models were 2 floors generally nice. I did like this most recent one better because it had a front deck and way better seating areas in my opinion. Staff were nice. The bar/snack options were only okay in my opinion. Very limited to type of drinks they could mix and also a tiny bit of inconsistency depending on who made the drink. The drinks were reasonably priced. The rental package I guess required a meal plan - which chips and salsa and veggie tray were chosen. They also sold a few snacks at the bar (a few typical bar snacks). We were able to use our own device to place music via an aux. It was a 2 hr event, we had so much fun the time went by really fast. Both were 2 story boats with a stereo system, bar on board, and 2 bathrooms. You can take a look at the boat layouts online and choose one that fits for your party. When booking a private cruise, it is mandatory to select a food package so keep in mind that the price of the boat you see online does not initially include the total of the food costs and the additional taxes and fees. The staff have always been so nice and really create a fun environment. It always goes by fast because we are all having so much fun! I will continue booking through them because we have never had a bad experience.

Did a quick google search and found this place. Gave a call and the voicemail said to leave a message and they would get back. Yeah right. Well, about 30 minutes later the phone rang! Learned that SUPs were first come first served, but mentioned we were headed to them in mound from Coon Rapids and it would kinda suck to drive that far. I asked what our chances were and they were sweet enough to make sure they didn't all disappear! The process is super easy, tou check in and then walk the few hundred feet to the beach. They bring the boards (or whatever you've rented) over to you and you're set! When you're done you just beach the items and they come grab them. Only down side is SUP is kinda hard for a newbie as the lake is clearly a play lake. Constantly rough from all the jet skiiers.

This past week it was time to take my parents out for their 50th anniversary. One of the season waitress overheard and took care of us and seated us. Salads were great like normal. Baked potato and brown potatoes were great. Steak was nothing to write home about and was a tuff monster.. Was too full to do desert and took mom and dad back home. Good was that we were in and out in less than an hour. As I was leaving I noticed half the tables were still empty. Was kinda schitty that 80 year old dad that can't walk had to sit on the high tables. Used the bathrooms before we left and they were nasty. My eyes really opened up on this visit and didn't leave a great taste in our mouth for a $200 dinner.

Pulled pork, chicken breasts, and brats with tater and macaroni salads and a variety of bars and cookies for deserts. Drinks were part of the deal and they were great, we all enjoyed ourselves. The staff is extremely nice and competent, you will enjoy yourself. Windy and cooler days are likely not as much fun but you will still enjoy yourself. Parking is metered street parking, the ride was $12 for the three hour tour.

I would not recommend getting your boat serviced by Bayside Marine. They ruined my boat. I…read morebrought it in for just a tune up and to check the impeller. They replaced the plugs and the water pump(impeller was part of this). When Bayside did a lake test, one of the hosing the pushes water through the exhausted popped up. Which created an excessive amount of heat that melted the paint of the exhaust and damaged wiring. They did not tell me this when I picked up the boat. I noticed it before I left their dock and called it out to them. They did try to repair the damage but ever since I have had nothing but problems. The boat was in perfect condition prior to them working on it. Won't be back to them every again. Many other good shops on the lake.
