Be careful with this place. They will nickel and dime you to death. The dentists are good but the…read morereceptionist/manager who runs the place is the nastiest person. All she cares about is money, does not want to work, acts like a dumb blonde just to give you a hard time and to keep from working. Apparently she does not like to take on complicated cases and tries to run you off by saying that you have to do your own predetermination. She hates it when you have extra insurance. She did not want to put it in the system. She handed me the full price of a procedure and smiled at me when it said $20,000 -- as if I did not have the money to. pay it -- insisting that insurance won't cover it, called a necessary procedure cosmetic because of the time it has taken to get it done. I was even told to do my own predetermination. Apparently she does this often with patients whenever there is a complicated patient and does not want to put in the effort. She is known for this. And, although she is Asian, she is the most racist person against people of color. Her name is Regina. Please steer clear of this place. She is nasty and will deliberately misunderstand what you are saying. Also, while you are in the chair undergoing a procedure they actually go to you and make you pay your portion. The procedure stops until you give them your card. These are some bad people. Please be careful. The actual medical staff are wonderful people though. But it's that office manager/receptionist who runs the place who eviscerates you while you are in the most vulnerable position. It was the most humiliating and insulting experience of my life, so unprofessional and cruel. Dentistry is scary enough, to have this on top of it just makes the entire experience horrifying. I don't think I will ever get over what she did. I was completely mortified by her behavior and I cannot believe she is allowed to work there, let alone run the place. Even her staff seemed to despise her. That is not a happy place. Beware.

No one showed me where the "cavities" were or informed me of a treatment plan, just said that I should come back the next day for fillings. When I got a copy of my records, the dentist had written that I needed SIX fillings. I went to get a second opinion from a different dental office the next day and they couldn't find a single cavity. Spencer Dental also made it extremely difficult to get a copy of my x-rays and patient information. And while some workers were nice, others were very rude. Overall, there were a LOT of red flags. I would not trust any diagnosis from this place.

Before leaving I tried to get some gloves and the clinical manger as she called herself told me that they were low on supplies and that I had to put them back. Thank goodness I took some anyway because on the way home blood was every where. This is so wrong and I feel like this place needs new management or shut them down.

I was asked to complete some documents online prior to the appointment and when I arrived was checked in swiftly. The staff were very friendly and they were in the holiday spirit with many dressed in their costumes! A dental assistant took me back and did a series of x-rays and photos. Then the dentist came in and did an exam and told me what I needed. I was sent to the waiting area for a few minutes before the hygienist got me and took me back for a thorough cleaning. Then I went back to the waiting area for another couple of minutes prior to seeing the payment person. Everyone explained everything that was going to happen before it did and why. I was given an appointment next Tuesday for the crown replacement and scheduled for my next cleaning in 6 months. It was overall a very nice and professional experience. The price seemed a bit high, and definitely not exorbitant. but I blame that more on my insurance than the office. And, it's "pay as you go" so I didn't need to pay it all at once.
