Super cute little hidden gem! Very cozy vibes and we had great customer service. Ordered a latte and it was very good! Definitely worth checking out. Cash only! There is an atm up the road, so park, grab some cash & get some yummy coffee!

Cute place. Didn't have cash on me, so I couldn't order anything (small purse = credit cards only!), but they had a very pleasant covered patio area, and the interior had several cute rooms. The space appears to be a converted house, which is very charming and clever.

Happy I happened to stumble upon this coffee shop. The inside was closed but their patio was a perfect spot to read and journal. I enjoyed an iced coffee with cream and house made lavender simple syrup. I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet, the flavor was spot on. I will definitely be back with my book.

I am utterly and thoroughly impressed by this coffee shop find. Having an early morning trip I was in dire need of a coffee and yelped the nearest Starbucks. What came up was the nearby Starbucks and the Java Bean Plantation. Based on the high rating I decided to read the Yelp reviews. These reviewers weren't lying, this place is outstanding. The directions took me to a side street in a residential type neighborhood. At the corner is a beautiful old house converted into a coffee shop with tables outside. Walking in I was amazed by the quaintness of the set up and the decor. The perfect place to relax and enjoy a cup of delicious coffee. This is where the flavor comes in. Outstanding. Better than any coffee shop I have been to in the U.S.. Add to that the great customer service and you have the perfect morning coffee stop. This place is an hour away from us, but I will make it a point to make it out there repeatedly.

Great coffee at Java Bean Plantation! And a very friendly staff.

Skip Starbucks and come to the Java Bean Plantation. The coffee is some of the best that I've ever had, and my wife says that the soy latte is very good. The atmosphere is comfortable and the wifi works well. Add easy free parking along the street to the mix and you couldn't want more from an independent coffee shop. Highly recommended! Update April 30, 2016: Good coffee but crappy wifi access. If you are looking for a place to hang out online, go someplace else. I asked the girl working here about the wifi problems, and she said that their router only accepts about five connections. I suggested that it is time to get a new router and she was crabby to me. This is the last time we'll be here!

Cash only. I didn't have cash and wasn't aware. I now owe them $5 and will be back for another taster latte on my next biz trip.

Properly roasted high quality arabica coffees. A real find in a small town like this.

Went in the morning for snickerdoodle coffee. Also bought some beans to take home. Prices were great.

The best mocha breves in town hands down. We love this place. Just walking in and smelling the fresh coffee makes you feel better.

Today was my first time coming to the Pine Scone Cafe. Café was clean. Staff was friendly and…read moreaccommodating. Staff was knowledgeable about the menu, and very patient because I know we took longer than we should have to make decisions. Restaurant offers what appeared to be scone dough for purchase, as well as other numerous items, such as local honey, and some apparel. I got the rise and pine, a traditional scone with jam and butter, and a vanilla latte. I asked about the jams they offered. Unfortunately, the one I ordered was not available so I got strawberry jam. I gotta say I was a little bit letdown because I assumed this was freshly made jam and not prepackaged store-bought. Either way it tasted fine. The downside to cold store-bought jam is it was impossible to spread on the scone. The scone was so brital that it literally fell apart in my hand. It almost had the consistency of a day old homemade biscuit. There was no salvaging this scone to eat properly I had to eat it in pieces. That aside it did have good flavor. I wonder what would it have tasted like if I could've actually put the jam and butter on it. Latte was good as well as the rise and pine breakfast scone. Seating was a bit different. Meaning that you felt like you were right on top of one another. Not very roomie. The most comfortable seat I must say is the one near the restroom which is a leather loveseat and a chair. I paid $23.73, which included a tip. In my opinion for what I got, this was too much, especially since the scone fell apart in my hand.
