Now I'm a "no such thing as too spicy chai" kinda guy, but I also enjoy a unique house blend so I was on board. The chai was, indeed, herbal. Sweet, with a little spice and flowery notes. It drank warm, smooth, & calming...like a gentle morning hug. Like most teas in the area, the sweetness could be dialed back a bit, but overall, a lovely shop and beautiful, tasty chai.

The downside to cold store-bought jam is it was impossible to spread on the scone. The scone was so brital that it literally fell apart in my hand. It almost had the consistency of a day old homemade biscuit. There was no salvaging this scone to eat properly I had to eat it in pieces. That aside it did have good flavor. I wonder what would it have tasted like if I could've actually put the jam and butter on it. Latte was good as well as the rise and pine breakfast scone. Seating was a bit different.
