This coffee spot is super convenient and just outside of West Gate of Hill Air Force Base. They have a drive thru and also a parking lot so you can choose to walk in or stay in your car. They also have a patio where you can enjoy drinks by yourself or with company. I decided to walk in and inquire on their matcha tea because I wanted a matcha latte instead of just tea. Usually matcha tea means matcha and water only. So I requested for it to be matcha with milk which they did for me! One thing I didn't like was when I inquired on whether the matcha was sweetened or unsweetened, they said it was unsweetened. However, when I got the matcha tea (latte), it was sweetened! I was in shock because I confirmed with her twice. That is why I took a star off because she wasn't knowledgeable about the products used. Two things to note: 1. They offer military discount. 2. If you pay with card and you're walking in, they're going to ask if you want to tip on your card because they can't turn the screen over to you. Just a heads up! read more

My in-laws stopped by our house last weekend and brought us some coffee from Java Espress. I had a hot Butter Toffee with oat milk and my husband had a hot Snickerdoodle with oat milk. The Butter Toffee is butterscotch with vanilla and the Snickerdoodle is caramel with vanilla. They were both delicious and we would 100% grab coffee from here again. Ohh, this small little coffee place has some great staff and magical potions. Was served by Flower at the window and she was super friendly for my first time and got me some fantastic drinks - introduced me to the Dragon energy drink which I was completely hooked on after the first sip. I love coffee and cold drinks before work and after and I used to go to this other place in Riverdale, but after finding out about this little gem; I had to try it. Everyone was so friendly, polite and happy; energetic and just very welcoming and helpful. I waited to do my review after going here about 8 times, but each time I have gone everyone has been absolutely wonderful, they even remember my name, which was nice. I have so far tried all of the cold coffee drinks with different flavors and the bagels are amazing, the bacon cheddar and the pizza bagel are delicious. I always ask for extra toasted and cream cheese on both sides and it always comes out delicious. You can add a strong shot of caffeine to any of your drinks, so you don't have to always have coffee, also I do not like the taste of coffee; but you have an option to get white coffee and it doesn't taste like coffee at all, it is delicious, if you don't like the after taste of coffee try this option. I met one of the owners, he was very friendly like everyone else and he told me him and his families vision and why they have these drink spots and I love that. It's a nice small family owned business, and I really hope they stay that way; family owned businesses are always better and they appreciate and understand their community and customers; and that's why i enjoy coming here, they actually care about me and ask me how i am doing and tell me how they are doing. I'm so so sad this place is closing, I'm shocked!!! They are always busy in the morning when I drop in for my drink. The staff is friendly drinks are perfect and the food items I've had once in a while have always been fresh. They say they are relocating I hope they really do and stay close to the area. Holy moly! I have been to Java Espress a few times now and they do not disappoint! Their menu is huge, and it looks like they have something for everyone. If you are looking for blended drinks their Copper Camel and Snickers are utterly divine. The staff is always friendly and the service is normally pretty fast. This morning I opted for their signature plant-based Luv Energy Drink (sugar-free with peach flavor) topped with vanilla cold foam. Omg Java Espress is DA BOMB! They have so many options and everything is DELICIOUS! Their kids cups are amazing bc they are served in reusable cups and the lids and SO SNUG! It's perfect for the car! We got the Chai Tea (hot), Hawaiian Hurricane, Chocolate Creamie and the Cotton Candy Creamie! They were all a HUGE HIT! Everything is so sweet and good...seriously can't wait to try it again. I stopped in about 6:45 and I was the only person in line. There is no ordering though a speaker from what I could tell so you just pull up to the window and order. They advertised a signature latte or mocha so I ordered that. I don't recall the name and I cannot find it online but I felt adventurous and ordered that. It had about 3 different flavors and the one I remember was black cherry, a new flavor for me in coffee. I thought it was ok but world not order it again. The temp of the drink was just like warm which was disappointing on a cold day. By the time I got to the office 10 minutes away I needed to drink it fast before it got cold and turned into an iced drink. I didn't really look too closely at the menu but they seem to have a drink for the whole family from soda to coffee. I'd give it another try just looking at the menu online.
