Delicious desserts served here! We had chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting, German chocolate pecan pie, and shipwreck ice cream. All three were fantastic, and very large servings- perfect to share! The employees were very sweet and helpful- and patient- it took us awhile to decide on our order because there is A LOT to choose from! The restaurant also serves wraps and other foods which looked fabulous, too. The entire restaurant was super peaceful and a pleasant, quiet space to visit and dine. There is real art on the walls and an eclectic assortment of furniture available. You can sit in an area with leather furniture that feels like a living room, a dining table, a high top old fashioned ice cream table, or any number of other spaces. read more

Came across this little place while traveling for work, and I will be back! The staff are so kind, and the gooey butter cake ice cream is a MUST try. The chicken salad had a bit of a sweet flavor to it, that I wasn't a huge fan of, but overall it was a great experience. read more

This was a relaxing atmosphere to sit in as the old brick interior wall and the clean couches gives you the moment to take breath after walking around all day in Hannibal. I enjoyed my coffee but my husband did not like the hot chocolate. I found this to be a nice oasis and would have liked to stay a bit longer. Free WIFI. I loved this place! They use local ingredients when possible, have a great and diverse menu, plenty of comfortable seating space--lots of couches and chairs, not just tables, and good coffee. They also have lots of little gift items you can purchase. When I arrived, the line was quite long, but they are very efficient and moved right through. Although you order in the front, the kitchen is in the back, so you are not waiting for those who need food while you order your coffee or ice cream. Service was extremely friendly. I enjoyed a coffee and the vegetarian sandwich. It was loaded and very filling! Watching everyone around me eat their meals I would say portions are hefty, so plan ahead so you can save time for the ice cream! Now if they could figure out a way for some great outside seating--a parklet maybe? read more

Such a cute place. We stopped by on our way from KC to Chicago. I had the cappuccino with salted caramel and my son had the espresso shake w/coffee ice cream. Both were good. Beautiful decor with lots of seating. Seating is a mixture of couches, living room chairs with coffee tables as well as dining tables and chairs of various sizes. It appears to be a gathering spot for locals as well as a place for those visiting the area. Local art and pottery displayed and on sale. Staff was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. I had the quiche of the day (very good) and my friend had the Pancake Breakfast Sandwich that she described as "unique and delicious." Coffee was decent, We had the drip brew. Good food, cute place in downtown Hannibal. It is a little expensive for what you get to be honest. $50 for 3 people to have 1/2 sandwhiches & 1/2 soup meals is kinda ridiculous if you ask me. Coffee was eh. It was strong but I added 3 shots of vanilla and Carmel and didn't even taste them. They have a few tables outside l. Lots of cute stuff to take home and the inside seating area is big with lots of plug ins and different seating. I will say I LoVe the wrapping paper on the bathroom walls. My favorite coffee shop and cafe! The place is decorated beautifully and it is so cozy! The food is perfect for a quick bite! The lattes and drip coffees are all wonderful! Each staff member I have encountered has been so beyond sweet! The shop even has a section with little miscellaneous gifts and it is the perfect place to look for little gag gifts or just interesting finds. read more

Nice airy place, good fare from fresh ingredients. Lots of fun stuff to entertain the kids - books, paintings, souvenirs, even a piano. The white bean chicken chili was delicious, salads - fresh. Sandwiches were good, but the bread was a bit stale, would be better if they reheated it in a toaster oven. read more

They certainly don't sell a 'Great' cup of coffee, but it's definitely decent and does the trick for a caffeine fix. It was a neat little coffee joint, had all the charm and typical ripoff merchandise available. The price of drinks were reasonable though. This was the only coffee shop we tried in Hannibal, so nothing to compare it to. I'm from coffee snob central of the Pacific Northwest. Still trying to find great beer or coffee around Monroe City or Hannibal. read more

Good coffee and a different chair to sit in each time while watching the view on main street Hannibal or just grabbing a book to enjoy while hanging out. We didn't get a chance to grab a dessert but they looked amazing. If we had more time we would have went back for a treat but we were just passing through and wanted to get some rest while staying at the Garth Mansion Bed & Breakfast, (also a great place to check out). I had the mocha and it seemed to be just the right amount of chocolate and coffee but my wife went for something more sweet and she agreed, it hit the spot. read more

I stopped in there for some coffee and a rest after touring Mark Twain's childhood home. The place is pleasantly filled with old settees and chairs as well as tables for dining. I didn't eat but had a cup of their Java Jive decaf banana nut coffee! It was so good! It tastes like dessert! I ended up paying $.30 for a refill and bought a bag to take home! read more

Rather pricy. The coffee is soooo bad. One of our sandwiches was wonderful, the other 2 were pretty sad. The soup was particularly salty. The salad was delicious and fresh. This was the first time here. The staff was nice, but a little too hipster. I expected better coffee from hipsters, for sure. I don't know that we'd return. I'd just get stuff to make my own sandwich and get gas station coffee. read more

The chicken salad sandwich was delish! The coffee was wonderful. Although there was Dave's blend and someone else's blend but I didn't know what it was so I didn't try it. Maybe put a label saying was it is? I had to bring it down one star because the place was SO dusty. My husband and I were visiting Hannibal for the weekend and wanted to get takeout cause, COVID. The online ordering system was very easy to use. I enjoyed my stop here. It's always great to find a friendly place to grab a coffee when you are new to town. The coffee shop itself is very spacious with a lot of fun stuff to look at. Pulled off the highway for a caffeine stop between Michigan and Kansas City and expected to settle for c-store coffee, yet was pleasantly surprised to find a coffee shop open after 5pm in this small town. I can't rate the coffee, food or barista skills since I just did espresso shots and bought art. The shop is in an old high ceiling, double wide store front which allows lots of gallery space. Tons of great art and even locally made ceramics for sale. Great vibe - hipness and history. I'll be passing through in 2 months and definitely stop in again. read more

Made a random stop on the way from central Missouri back to Chicago area. Nice place. Sandwiches were good but a bit slow to get to the table. No biggie at all, the wait was great. This place is so great! Tons of yummy drink options including sugar free which is always a plus. My mom and sister in law are both off gluten and totally found delicious things to eat there as well. The best part about the place is it's huge and there are tons of nooks and crannies and cozy spots to post up in to read or study or just hang out. There was a group of us and tons of seating to accommodate us all and other groups around as well. Charming little spot in a great old town. read more
