I'd say you're safe to go 100% because they're NEVER too sweet (or even like...sweet), but earlier in October, we ordered a hot Ube milk tea at 100% sugar level and it tasted like drinking melted ice cream, way too sweet. Iced drinks should be fine though! I've never had issues with the pearls, they've always been a perfect amount of chewy. There are ENDLESS options here, my recommendations are the Ube Milk Green Tea (not super Ube but it's okay) and the Osmanthus Milk Tea. Definitely visit!

This time, I ordered a matcha milk tea with bubbles at 30% sugar, along with a pineapple mojito (non-alcoholic) with crystal pearls. The matcha was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. The 30% sugar level was perfect for letting the matcha flavor shine. The pineapple mojito was refreshing, light, and sparkling. It was also my first experience trying crystal pearls. My initial reaction was that I didn't like them because they're smaller and firmer than traditional boba pearls. They almost reminded me of boba that wasn't cooked quite long enough. But the more I drank, the more I appreciated them. In a cold, sparkling drink, they actually work really well.
