My first time trying rolled ice cream! We decided to try a new ice cream place that is a little different from our normal places. It is located right around the chauncey area so the parking is limited but the nearby parking garage is open for nights and weekends. Upon entering, you are greeted with brightly colored walls and a display case that is filled with goodies. I opted for a rolled ice cream and chose strawberry lady. It was good but not the best or creamiest ice cream I have had. It was neat to watch them spread out the mixture on the frozen slab and then use the scraper to push the frozen puddle into rolls. With the rolls being so frozen, they were a bit hard to get the spoon through at first. If you haven't had rolled ice cream before, I would recommend trying it out as it is a different texture. The only reason I am removing a star is because they are a bit pricey. The macarons are 3 dollars each which seems a bit high. For us, we got two rolled ice creams and one regular soft serve and it ran almost 20 dollars. As for their teas, I cannot comment on them but I will return to try them too as I really enjoy bubble teas.

Very cute café with macarons, cakes, drinks, and (most importantly, in my opinion) rolled ice cream!!! I love how you can pick out the toppings for your ice cream and watch it get rolled in front of you--everything I've tried has been delicious, and this is one of my favorite places to go for a sweet treat or when I'm craving ice cream :)

Prices are cheap here compared to other bubble tea drink places we have been recently, that's what got us to stay and grab some drinks. We ordered the large and asked to get them split, they were kind enough to split the drinks for us. We got the brown sugar milk, thai milk tea and a peach slush. All the drinks were very simple on flavor and used syrup. The Thai milk tea was not very strong at all, but was okay for an afternoon. This was expected because the prices were so cheap comparatively.

Happy to try another boba spot near Purdue! There are so many different flavors to choose from; I went with the classic Brown Sugar Milk Tea Boba. The prices are good and the packaging is cute. My drink tasted really good; I got 50% sugar and ice. I do think the milk tea to boba ratio was off, as there was too much boba and I couldn't finish it all. But otherwise, the taste and quality were good, and I will definitely come back to try the other flavors. I am also intrigued by the rolled ice cream! This shop is cute and a great place to stop by for a sweet treat.

Freshly made while you wait. Very tasty! The shop is small and cramped but many menu items await: drinks and ice cream. The looks to be all natural ingredients on most items. Sweet cream chilled on a cold table, mixed up and then frozen and scooped up into your bowl!! A fun dessert stop anytime of the day.

Love the macaroons here, will always come here for a sweet treat. The employees are nice, nothing to complain about. The establishment is weird in the sense that there are two completely separate rooms to order and eat in. One of my favorite Dessert shops.

This was my first experience with Thai ice cream and it was delicious! First, first impression coming inside, the place is super cute. Instagram worthy with a flower wall perfect for photos! There is a huge variety of teas and drinks which I would love to come back and try...especially have my eye on the boba tea! For the ice cream, first you pick your ice cream flavor from a large list. Then you can choose three toppings from a great variety, and then you choose your drizzle. I'm usually a chocolate girl all around but, since I was trying thai ice cream, something completely different to me, I decided to get something different and I was not disappointed! For my ice cream, I chose key lime pie. They freshly grated a lime and chopped up a chunk of cheesecake to add to their ice cream base. This was spread thin on a freezer counter and then rolled into columns and put into a dish. For my toppings I chose mochi, boba, and Pocky sticks and loved them all! For my topping I chose condensed milk. It was all very complimentary and tasted great! If you pay in cash, you get a discount! I highly recommend and will definitely return!

Now that the weather has started to warm up again, I was eager to give Miss Sugar Dessert a shot for my first rolled ice cream. It was delicious! I've been going with the "monkey business" ice cream--a combination of banana and Nutella rolled ice cream. You can also choose three toppings as well as a sauce to add on. It's also fun to see your ice cream being rolled. It definitely looks like a tasty little work of art at the end!

Their cakes are really slept on. Ordered a cake and it was SO delicious! Frosting was creamy and not too overly sweet. Cake was moist and light and fluffy. Highly recommend!

I think this is the monkey business ice cream option?

My fellow Cantonese friend introduced me to this place because we were both craving boba. Miss Sugar is primarily known for their ice cream but their boba is truly a hidden gem. The service is efficient and fast. It's nice to watch the ice cream being folded, as well. There's a little room next to the ordering place that has a lovely atmosphere. My personal favorites are in the pictures below. Not pictured is the banana chocolate milkshake with boba at the bottom - SO CREAMY AND DELICIOUS. I'm going later this week.

We got the taro milk bubble tea and it's the best one I've had so far! It's really good. We also got the caramel pudding, which has got the perfect sweetness as well as texture. Definitely would recommend to go and try it!

Absolutely delicious ice cream and cakes!! I hail from Columbus and thought our local asian bakeries were pretty good, but after checking this place out while visiting my bro I have to admit this is much better. The cakes are sooo beautiful, typical Chinese chiffon style w/ whipped cream, moist fluffy and delicious!! There's a variety of choices and prices start in the $30s. Definitely call ahead if you want a full cake. As for the rolled ice cream, it's delicious and I'm not sure what else to say. Also better than what we have in Columbus. I'm sorry that I'm not selling Columbus very well right now, but I promise that there's other delicious places to try. Message me if you're visiting and want a list!

I always go here for rolled ice cream. The Strawberry Lady is my go-to. Absolutely love it here. Recently I ordered a birthday cake to be made and I was astonished by the results. I was able to get it a day in advance and they included candles, plates, and a cake cutter! The cake was delicious with cream and fruit on the inside. Don't hesitate to buy a cake from here!

We found Mango Mango Dessert that was highly recommended online, so we came to try it out. There were not many stores selling ice or cold desserts in the area, so many people were waiting when we arrived. There were many tables and chairs, but most of them were occupied. It was very crowded. We had to wait in a long line to order. We could have ordered online, but we were not familiar with the system, so we chose to wait to order in person. Finally, with the assistance of the staff, we were able to order what we wanted. Also, we were able to secure a table for four of us. The staff was busy with so many customers, so nobody cleaned the table or the floor. We had to clean up by ourselves, which is not a big deal for us. We waited for a while to get our order. All of them were delicious. We were skeptical about some combinations, but they all turned out great. My friend ordered a big bowl of shaved mango ice with ice cream, and it was pretty large. Because the A/C was strong inside the store, my friend felt too cold to eat ice. She ended up calling her kid to help her finish. Overall, it was a good experience to try out Mango Mango. The service was a bit slow and it was crowded. But I guess it's also because of the move-in timing. I will go again to try more items.
