I wish I'd taken way more pics of this place. Chelsea was my kratom tender & she was lovely. The ambiance inside was so chill. At first it was just me but then more & more people showed up. I was asked to stay for open mic which was like four hours out & politely declined, as I was very much in a hurry to get back to my empty house with no one waiting for me, but ended up doing just that. The tender that made my kratom drink before Chelsea left made a chocolate peanut butter shake for me with kava instead of kratom since another fave kava bar has something very similar on the menu & it was delicious. She told me they have their kava flown in from their supplier & it's very fresh. read more

This was such a treasure to stumble upon a couple of weekends ago. The Beau and I had just had a lovely date night down in St. Pete and were looking to extend it a bit longer. The first night spot we had wanted to go to, looked WAY too busy so we had decided to just go home when I spied this on the road side. We did a u-Turn and stopped in. Inside was chill and relaxed, a totally nice atmosphere. The Kavatenders were cool. This was my first experience, so we let out tender lead the way. I was also able to purchase some of my favorite Delta-8 CBD Chewables there! I was so happy. Once we had our drinks, we went out and listened to some Awesome Karaoke, while we played a couple of games of pool, and several times the others there invited us to share in the snacks that were provided. We were encouraged to join in, which was really awesome. The vibe there was one of inclusion. I left a few of my kindness rocks behind, I hope others found them and they made them smile. read more

I'm not even remotely exaggerating, they smoke the pork on property for 7 hours, they get their bread from Tampa's oldest and best bakery La Segunda, you can taste and smell the difference. Would you be surprised if I told you the best Cuban in town comes from .... here?! This is the best under-the-radar botanicals cafe. HANDS DOWN. No other owner/management team cares so much about the details that make people smile when they walk in. From the handmade resin coated exposed bark table and bar top, to the wide open patio (they doubled the patio area size in the last few months!!) that sets an incredible scene for Open Mic on Saturday's and other live events. But besides the clean, spacious, thoughtful design of the space- they have outstanding kavas, addictive fruit smoothies, and a small but mighty food menu that keeps me coming back for more. They use a very special local Cuban bread for their sandwiches, and they prepare the ingredients in their sandwiches from scratch, PLUS they only ever make your sandwich to order, right then and there. You will have to wait 5-10 minutes, but you can trust every minute of mouthwatering patience is leading you to the greatest damn bites you'll ever have on this side of town. Last but not least- you will find the friendliest service and the most welcoming crowd at this joint. I'm new to the Kratom world and have tried Kratom at a few different places. Java Kava is right around the corner from me and on my way to work. That's a plus on my part but either way I still love this spot the most. Supporting local small businesses is my first priority when trying out new places. This cafe is just adorable! Very comfortable setting with a relaxing vibe. Everyone I have came into contact with here has been extremely friendly. I have met the owners a few times and they have always been so appreciative. Chelsea is the main lady I see when I stop in. Such a sweetie! My go to is an Arnold Palmer with white Kratom. Always tastes great and does its job. I now bring one to a co worked on Tuesdays since it is $9 doubles day. It helps the both of us have a fun relaxing night at our fast paced job. Try them out! This place is a hidden gem in Largo area! Located just off route 19, they offer more then the kava and kratom teas that people think. With fresh pressed Cuban sandwiches ( add a grilled cheese option soon?) , coffee and smoothies, they offer something for everyone. I personally like their homemade CBD brownies! They used to bake the CBD into the brownie ( I thought this made them stronger) but now they add the CBD drops when you order. I guess this makes it good for checking the dose. There are some games inside like darts plus a few "Instagram" worthy photo spots like the giant chair outside, the green grass wall inside and the massive tropical mural. I love their Tea and their employees! However, I did meet the owner (woman) recently and she was very rude and especially condescending! I was going to get more than just a tea at the time but after the attitude I received, I didn't want to give her much more of my money! It's not that close to me or I would have gotten nothing! Wife and I were tourists to St. Pete area, staying north of the city. Bought a couple Groupons in advance, including one for this spot. Ordered 3 sandwiches (2 special Chicken Pestos and 1 Cuban), but due to some miscommunication, only walked out with the chicken pestos. Upon making it back to the hotel, called them up and owner was so apologetic and offered to drive missing Cuban to our hotel (~10 minutes away)! That seemed unnecessary, so we declined, and just made plans to get that last sandwich another night. A couple minutes later, the owner called to tell us that when we showed up for that missing Cuban, he'd comp us another one just for the trouble. Really a stand-up guy. Chicken Pestos & Cubans were perfect; multiple chip options were appreciated. While we got our sandwiches to go, owner was friendly and helpful re: neighborhoods in and around St. Pete, while staff at the bar was welcoming.
