Absolutely love this open air coffee shop in downtown safety harbor. Great coffee and breakfast items, especially their sunrise croissant, and various, cozy seating arrangements. It's all on the second floor above Water Oak and there's an elevator if needed. It stays pretty cool up there with the fans and shades but there's also a small indoor nook that's air conditioned. We love the views! Just wish they were open on Sundays as that's when we're most likely to be free to visit. Also I love a specialty coffee flavor but every time I go, they seem to be out! Could just be my luck! I've heard some complain that they don't hear their order being called out when ready but I never seem to have that issue. The staff seems pretty friendly and efficient. If you go on their Instagram, they also advertise that they are sometimes available to venue rental. I think this would make a great sunset or evening space in the non-summer months for any occasion. read more

Haven House in Safety Harbor, FL is an excellent place to have coffee and they have some excellent avocado toast. I had the "classic" and you can also get the "executive " which I have had in the past. The executive comes with toppings such as delicious pi led red onions. I also had a café latte. The patrons here are always polite and nice. It is comfortable. The employees are so helpful and clean. The Barista makes quality espresso drinks too. You won't feel disappointed after spending your hard earned money on a coffee drink, it's worth it! I love how it is upstairs and there's a nice breeze and comfortable porch for sitting. Sunday lunch after church. Looking for a new place to try, Haven House sounded interesting. Although hesitant to check out places in downtown Safety Harbor, mainly due to parking difficulties, we were going to check it out. Arriving in the area we looked for parking near but basically no street parking. Thought about the parking lot across the street but decided to circle the block. Lucked into a spot right behind the building. Stairs up to 2nd floor but my wife not good with stairs so we went to front for elevator. Ouch! This place was packed! Which was not difficult in the small space. We grabbed menus to decide our orders while we waited on a table. In about 15 minutes a table of four left and we sat down, grabbing an extra chair for our party of five. We did have to ask three times to have our table wiped off, although we said we would do it ourself. My wife ordered the Bailando Burrito, my oldest daughter the Up S-Kale Cobb Salad, my youngest daughter the Awaken Bacon sandwich, my granddaughter chose the Harbor Horizon Açaí Bowl and I got the Sunrise Sandwich. You order and pay at the counter then wait for your name to be called. We usually just get water to drink so we were given small plastic cups to get self-serve water from a container of probably warm tap water. Disappointing in the even with a light breeze, it was still pretty hot. After awhile our food came in cardboard boxes with plastic cutlery. I'm sure the purpose in that is ease of cleanup plus if no table is available there are comfy chairs and couches. And there didn't appear to be a time limit on tables. A group of young people next to us had laptops set up and apparently spent the morning relaxing with coffee. The best thing is that the food was superb. Everyone enjoyed their food very much, even my granddaughter who was cautious about her Açaí bowl, being more of a cheeseburger gal. We tried each other's meal, as is our habit, and all were delicious. It was an experience. Food was excellent but I doubt we will be back unless just my wife and I during a weekday. Hidden upstairs on Main Street in Safety Harbor, it is spacious and has multiple seating areas to enjoy your coffee and converse. The coffee is locally medium roasted pure Columbian from Helping Hands. The espresso is flavorful and smooth with a nice crema. They take their time and do it right! In the morning, the birds are singing and the view of sunrise over the trees is quite serene. My wife also enjoyed a double dirty chai tumeric latte that was bold, flavorful and unique! I got out of work early and my wife and I were looking for a place to chill for the afternoon. I had already eaten, so I just ordered an iced cappuccino; wife ordered a smoothie. The seating/lounge area is pretty relaxed and filled with the variety of people and conversations you would expect at such an establishment. Staff were cool and drinks came out timely. It offers great views of charming downtown Safety Harbor. We were greeted right away by a team behind the counter. They were pleasant, patient, and helpful. They were happy to answer all of our questions. There were only three in my party and we each ordered something different from the menu. I ordered the sunset sandwich, $12 and a cinnamon honey oat milk latte. The other two ordered 2 different acai bowls, a london fog latte, and a chai latte. The sandwich and acai bowls all looked and tasted fresh. They also didn't skimp on the portions. The food and drinks were delicious.
