All of the team that assisted us were polite, friendly, and customer centric. The experience: the pontoon boat itself was in excellent condition and easy to maneuver with great HP from the motor. The seats were super comfy and made for a great day cruising the lake. Renting the tube was a must for our sons (8 and 20 yo). The boys had a great time! Mom and Dad had a great time watching ;-) Overall, we would recommend Kahuna to friends and would definitely rent again, if we return to Hot Springs.

However the group in front of me had the same issue and that wasn't mentioned. I wasn't notified or contacted in any way. Affects our whole weekend and trip as everything revolves around this reservation. Didn't seem like the front desk staff or even the managers for that knew what was going on or how to damage control whatever mistakes previously made were. Now we have a lake house with a slip and no boat.

If you do rent a boat, keep in mind that the buoy clips (to secure the buoy to the boat) are PLASTIC. If you rent a boat and expect to dock it overnight or anywhere moderately wavy, expect to pay the $30/buoy replacement fee as your boat will rock and the clips break under minimal stress.

I had visitors who planned their trip for two months from Louisiana and I felt horrible we weren't going to be able to do the one thing they were most excited about: Getting out on Lake Hamilton! So we dropped into Greg Orr Marina unannounced - without a reservation - just days before a major holiday - hoping they might be able to save our day. They absolutely did! We rented the unit for four hours, and I was actually quite impressed with how nice the boats were. The best part tho? The staff were amazing! Everyone was very professional, not only in their demeanor, but in their dress, and were incredibly helpful in getting our ice chest and items down and onto the boat. The same occurred when we returned - but with a completely different crew checking us in. Whoever's training their staff there has done a great job and it was nice to see young people handling their job jobs so well. Overall, I can tell you that the price was actually pretty reasonable compared to other boat rentals I've experienced over the years. The unit was clean with a few little dings, but it's a rental, and pretty much the only thing that I could say negatively was there was a bit of prop damage, but as it was the last unit they had available we were just tickled to be able to get on the water. Regardless, I cannot recommend Greg Orr Marina enough. I've been involved with Swift and Open Water Rescue training through Kawasaki motor corporation for over 30 years and that is one of the best marinas I've ever visited. And I've visited more than a few.

We had to go through everything again and give my credit card once again. I asked for the address and he wouldn't give it to me and said it was wrong... I should have realized that as a first red flag. Then 15 min before our charter I get a call saying his "steering was out" and our charter was canceled. This whole thing is very unprofessional and a let down. Would do 0/5 stars if I could. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Will also be constantly checking my credit card statement.

I happen to stumble upon the place after my trailers hub assembly decided to lock up on I-30. I was able to limp the boat into the parking lot at Arkansas Marine on three tires. Although they don't work on boat trailers they were extremely helpful in pointing me in the right direction. Thanks to them , I was able to find the parts I needed and get back on the road again. They even helped me fix it without charge. You don't find many people like that these days. If you need knowledgeable advice from an experienced marine mechanic RON is the man. RON has over thirty years experience working on outboard motors, he knows what he's talking about. He helped me solve a problem I was having with me motor while I was there.
