When the wife and I were looking to purchase our first home, we went through SchoolsFirst credit union for financing who then referred us to First Team Real Estate and our assigned agent Lucas Chen from Homearly. We have been working with another credit union and another agent for over half a year before making the switch. Jay, Lucas, and Allison has made the buying process as smooth and easy as possible, considering the challenge of buying during the pandemic and the insane seller's market. We toured about a dozen homes with Lucas over a few months and made 3 offers before eventually winning our current home. Lucas was always available and early to every single meeting. We tried to get there 10-15 minutes before him and he still beat us to the house. On one occasion, he was about 1.5hr away and still was able to meet us at a house on short notice (and he was early of course). He was in constant communication with listing agents/us and never made us feel like we were wasting his time. We then spoke several times regarding other offers I was looking at, and my overall plans, and he was able to provide me with several competitive financing options, along with breaking down the pro's and con's of each.
