I recommend them so much that when my boyfriend had insurance that only covered certain dentists that he didn't feel very good about (and I didn't trust that they weren't trying to up-charge him for non-existent needs) I put him on my dental insurance so that he could start going to Innovative Dental. They've done right by him and made him significantly less anxious to go to the dentist despite having to do several procedures including a root canal. Now his teeth are set back on the right path! Back in 2018 my dental insurance changed and I had to go to a nearby dentist practice instead. It was the kind where you never see the same dentist twice. They told me that I had a cavity between my teeth and that I should have flossed. I almost came out of the chair swinging because I floss every night. As I was leaving I heard them upselling expensive toothbrushes in the next room. I then decided to start going back to Innovative Dental even if my dental insurance didn't cover it because I didn't trust those dentists. Dr Mithani is 1000% trustworthy and so gentle with teeth. Plus, he really remembers me, my needs, my mouth so well between visits. I always feel really cared for here :)

He is a top-notch doctor, dentist, and great person. He has made so many dental decisions that served in my best interest as the patient, and his philosophy is taking care of the teeth and doing the least work as possible to affect you. He closely monitors any issues and remembers them and always does a superb job on the procedures needed. He's very calm, competent, and clear and actually makes going to the dentist enjoyable :). Dr. Mithani is generous and fair with procedures, overall judgment, and payments. Could not recommend a dentist more!

And so I was drawn to Dr. Towbin who appeared to have many years of experience. Thankfully he was able to see me the morning after the crown came off. As I suspected he's extremely experienced. We even discussed the glue he chose to place to crown and why he preferred it. Bravo, Dr. Towbin. Well done!

So I powered through the cold and found the little 3 room office. Dr. Towbin has been in this office since 1969 (see photos for his mugshot), that's some time! He's a very straightforward guy and helped determine that my issue was with my sinuses not my teeth. I'm not a regular patient but I thought his staff was solid and he was knowledgable and generally interested in his patients. Seems like a solid pick for a dentist.

A few issues were identified that needed attention, but they were presented as nothing drastic. I was advised to make another appointment to take care of some of the work that did not require prior insurance approval. When I returned, however, the recommendation seemed completely different from what I had been told during my first visit. Once I was in the chair, I was given the impression that my teeth were in very poor condition and that significant work needed to be done right away. I felt there was a lot of pressure to proceed, and different costs and figures were being discussed quickly in a way that I found difficult to follow. Because the assessment seemed so different from my initial visit, I was uncomfortable moving forward with any treatment and decided to leave and seek a second opinion. My wife had a similar experience. She was given what sounded like a very serious prognosis, but after obtaining a second opinion, she was told that her situation was not as severe as it had initially been presented to her. I am now getting a second opinion for myself before having any work done. Based solely on our personal experiences, I would recommend being cautious and considering a second opinion before agreeing to extensive dental work. My biggest concern is the inconsistency between the recommendations we initially received and what was presented at the follow-up visits.

I was referred by a friend after seeing a dentist in Merrick that said I needed over $12,000 of work done, but after getting a second opinion from Dr. Rosenzweig I only needed about $600.00 of work. He is an honest guy, well trained, and a real guy you can talk to. He accepts most insurance and if he can't do the work his referrals are amazing specialists that are just as professional and caring.

I now have a mouth that is healthy and my bite is good and I continue to enjoy minimal problems due to the work he has done and the tooth guard he made for me, being a grinder caused me lots of problems. Now his office and practice works for me on a number of levels 1. Great staff that has been with him for years, all professional and lovely to be around making the visits not only stress free but enjoyable. 2. He has a great list of referrals to send you to if you need specialized care or procedures, all his referrals have been top notch from root canals, braces and periodontal work, I have had them all. You have to have a great dentist but they have to have a great list of people for the other work as well. 3. He makes sure that his work is right and he is conscientious about making sure your overall dental health is right and stays right. 4. His work is impeccable to say the least, my teeth look better, fit better and are in better shape than they have been in years, not only his work but his hygienists are all top notch and have taught me much better habits. 5.
