This is a great local barbershop to get a haircut. Let's start with the basics. The place looks and smells fresh and clean and the quality of the haircut is great. I especially like that they use a real razor to clean up the sideburns and neck and then clean you up with a hot towel. The "above and beyond" are the guys that work here, themselves. Having taken him to Sports Clips previously and paying only $10 less than Jays for a crappy haircut, I'm more than happy to pay extra for an actual barber to do his hair. I have a coarse, full beard and longer hair on top. Was looking to get shaped up and all I had to do was show Jay a picture of what I was looking to get done. he nailed it. It's always hard to find the balance of having a good barber, a good conversation, and time management, but the barbers at Jay's barbershop seem to have accomplished that. I was a first time customer and scheduled online for anyone available at a particular time. I got the barber named June who went right to work and was a great conversationalist, but never stopped cutting as he was talking. The entire haircut took about 30 minutes this included the straight razor to the back of the neck to give it a clean look. All the guys in there were great. The place is very clean, open, and welcoming. If you're in the military, I highly recommend this place because they do a great job at their fades and overall a very enjoyable experience and family friendly. This is now going to be my go to place, specifically requesting June. read more

I left Jay's spot 5 minutes ago and am extremely satisfied with my cut. Fade is perfect, cut is on point, and neck is squeaky clean. Within minutes of sitting down in the chair it was clear Jay is a good guy. I am always nervous going to a new shop because I've had a few bad experiences. My prior barber was solid but a 15 minute drive away. When I saw Jay's spot open up less than 2 minutes from my house I had to give him a shot. It's nice to have a great barber so close. Made an appointment for a beard trim with Jay, which he was right on time for. The barber shop is tidy and the music was relaxing. Jay gave me a perfect trim and didn't take too long nor did he ever appear to be rushing. He took his time and I can say this is my most memorable barber shop experience, of all time. There's free refreshments as well, which was refreshing. Unlike another nearby barber shop, Jay was very welcoming and professional. Didn't make me feel like an unwanted pariah.
