Been coming here since 2014, love this cute family run place…read more The service is good, food is fresh and always consistently made well. This place was very nicely designed and looks nice inside and out. It is always clean and well kept. I love the Vegetable samosas, Coconut curry lentil soup and Aloo Gobi. To make these dishes vegan just ask for no butter on the naan. The only things are I wish they had brown basmati rice and whole wheat naan. Can't wait to try the Vegetable and Channa masalas. My fiancé loves the Hillcrest breakfast special, samosas and their Egg salad sandwich, my cousin really likes their Sunny tuna melt. My dad from Vancouver LOVED their samosas so much that he wanted to order 10 to take back home. He said the Hillcrest samosas were better than the samosas he's had at many different places in Surrey and Vancouver. They make really great drinks too and I appreciate that they have almond milk as well. Also, when their satin cherries are in season - they are the best I've had so far in Kelowna. Beautiful deep red colour, juicy, very sweet, not too soft. And nice size too! Sooo good!

This was our second time coming here…read more Food was still extremely slow coming out. Also, the portions were small for the price. Hubby's eggs bene were acceptable, but I ordered a breakfast sandwich without egg and it didn't come with anything else described on the menu. Basically all I received was two thin slices of back bacon on a bun with mayo; none of the veg or cheese as advertised. Not a great choice.

At the end, you get to make your own tonner or bath scent etc. The tour cost $15 per person. The tour guide explains the history of the lavender herb farm very well. She is very knowledgeable on what is grown at this farm. There is also a wishing area near the end of the tour. As well you can get souvenir back from this farm. I got a few things and I have to say the Lavender smelled very nice. Products are all made on site so they know what is in their products very well. Love this place and definitely will be back.

What a lovely garden! I enjoy walking through farms and gardens, as my husband's family are total…read moregreen thumbs. This farm was really fun to walk through, as they had a lot to see; there's a maze for the kids, an apothecary garden with medicinal plants, an herb garden, a butterfly garden that our winged friends just flocked to while I was there, and of course, many beautiful specimens of lavender. The air was rich with its perfume. We took the self-guided tour ($9.00/person). A garden lover would need about an hour to see it all. Signs at different parts of the garden explain how to grow lavender, the different species, and what it was used for in traditional medicine. I love the smell of lavender, and I'd say I appreciate it more now because of this stop. The cafe has small pastries, drinks, and snacks, many of which have lavender in them. The lavender jelly preserve is stellar. They also have a gift shop that carries many locally-made products and, of course, lavender products direct from the farm itself. If you enjoy lavender, flower gardens, or are looking for something to do between wine tastings, I recommend this place.
