Dr. Rasania is also a star interventional specialist at San Antonio Regional Hospital that has a state-of-the-art cath lab, and he couples it with his expertise and care. He does the most complex procedures and also has the fewest complications. He also does all of his own procedures for his patients from angiograms to stents, and you can be sure he will be with you the whole step of the way. His staff is also incredibly kind, helpful and very efficient, and they makes sure all the appointments run smoothly so patients are not waiting long. They are can set up all your appointments. I would not hesitate to contact his office if you are looking for quality care for you and your heart.

Dr Rasania provided me with the results of my Echo Cardiogram, and was very straightforward with an apparent diagnosis. I'll still need 2 more invasive tests before he can go ahead with my surgery. Unfortunately for me, these tests cannot be done until Jan, 2026. This is frustrating, and a bit alarming for me. I'm not feeling well, get short winded easily and at 80, I'd like to be able to enjoying my life for as long as I have! It getting back to Dr Rasania, I'm completely satisfied with him and am happy to say he provided me with time, answered questions, and looked me in the face as we talked this time. Being asked to adjust appointments last minute can be inconvenient and stressful. Once I arrived, the appointment felt somewhat rushed, which left me hoping the echocardiogram was still completed thoroughly. As I was leaving, the front desk staff and receptionist were both on their cell phones and didn't even look up to acknowledge me as I walked out. Dr. Wang and his office staff made me feel very welcome, comfortable, and relaxed from the moment I arrived. What pleased me most is that Dr. Wang is also a cardiologist, which is a tremendous bonus for me. He took the time to thoroughly review my medications and provided highly professional, patient, and detailed guidance regarding my heart condition, including treatment, recovery, diet, and exercise. He also carefully addressed several other health concerns I brought up, explaining preventive measures and treatment options in a clear and thoughtful manner. I am extremely satisfied with my experience. I can only say that I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Wang. I highly recommend Dr. Wang, especially for Chinese-speaking patients seeking a knowledgeable, caring, and professional physician.

We visited the office on Friday and I was nervous and anxious as any parent would be. We were greeted with Anna who was friendly and patient while I was filling out the check in paperwork. She was also the one that took his vitals and did the EKG. During this time, she ask about any hereditary heart conditions in the family. She treated my little one with care and talked thru everyone that she was doing to my little one which helped him be calm and cooperative. After the EKG, we went into another exam room to wait for Dr Lai with the echo. It was a short wait unlike some of the other medical offices. Dr Lai was very friendly asked the same hereditary heart conditions as Anna which I really appreciated cause it showed that they were thorough and Dr Lai wanted to ensure that we were all on the same page. The echo started and Dr Lai also described everything that she was going to do ( like this wand was a camera to help her look at the heart and the gel was going to a little cold,etc). When the echo started , she took her time with every image and did NOT rush any part of the echo. One of the best parts was that when the echo started, she took out an iPad so my little one had something to keep him calm and still. A few more good things that I liked...completely the forms in a iPad, the waiting room had a toy car table to keep the little one entertained, the rooms were decorated so cute and the exam room had a toy that keep my little one busy. After our visit, I explained that my son's school would require a note to return to day and explained it needed to be worded as such as this school is very strict. They provided me with an automatic generated note where it stated that my son was seen on (Filled in the blank date in blue ink) and to excuse his absence. The front desk lady who provided me the note was very disconnected and appeared to even be bothered by my request. As expected the school took issue and refused to let my son return without the note speciyfing that he could in fact return today. I called and spoke with the front desk. They refused to generate a new letter stating that is the only option they have. I don't think this is the case though as I am sure patients all have different needs of being excused; some returning, some needing the day off, and others needing multiple days excused. I was then told that they couldn't write on the note to amend it. I explained that they wrote the date on the note in blue ink. Another long silence. Then I was told the school could call themselves if they want but that they were at lunch. I asked how that would help as they needed something in writing. She then said the doctor was gone. She was so short, unbothered, unsympathetic, and unhelpful. As a result, he missed testing, basketball tryouts, etc. While I understand the school's rules are fairly strict and frustrating, this interaction was so frustrating as a patient's mom. I am assuming most of their patient's parents are already pretty stressed that their child is having to see a Cardiologist. I think the front desk would benefit from some training on how to treat their patient's and parents. Dr. Lai was so incredibly nice and helpful. Her staff need to reflect her.

She carefully addressed all of my concerns and promptly submitted referrals for the specialized care I needed (which I got back immediately!) . I was impressed by how quickly those referrals were processed, which helped me move forward with my healthcare without delay. For those who may be concerned about waiting past their scheduled appointment time, I can understand the frustration. However, after meeting with Dr. Lenoi, I also understand why appointments sometimes run longer than expected. Last year I had a concerning health issue. She got me into her office quickly & referred me to a specialist. When I told her the specialist couldn't see me for almost a month, she contacted them & I was seen in just a few days. She is a rare doctor who takes her time during your visits to make sure all your questions are answered. It can take time to schedule regular exams, but she's the only doctor in her office. I trust Dr. Leoni with my family's health & have for years.
