Dr Rasania provided me with the results of my Echo Cardiogram, and was very straightforward with an apparent diagnosis. I'll still need 2 more invasive tests before he can go ahead with my surgery. Unfortunately for me, these tests cannot be done until Jan, 2026. This is frustrating, and a bit alarming for me. I'm not feeling well, get short winded easily and at 80, I'd like to be able to enjoying my life for as long as I have! It getting back to Dr Rasania, I'm completely satisfied with him and am happy to say he provided me with time, answered questions, and looked me in the face as we talked this time. I felt he was really engaged.

I tried to explain to them that I just wanted to be seen as a non work related patient but for some reason they insist on billing through workman's comp. They said if they saw me then it would "turn into a workman's comp" and I would have to go through an adjuster which I don't understand because I want to be seen on a "non work related issue" I don't know if their billing practice is legal in this aspect. My 9 year old daughter has the same PPO insurance I do. If she has a cardiac issue will she have to go through an adjuster and be billed through workman's comp? She is 9!!! Needless to say, if you are a first responder. ( I am a firefighter ) then I would go someplace else. I am planning on filing a complaint with the California DWC.

It's difficult to get an appointment that isn't…read morescheduled far out, and on a few occasions I've received calls asking to reschedule my appointment because the doctor won't be in or most recently, I received a call about three hours beforehand asking if I could come in earlier because the sonographer needed to leave early. It can be difficult for patients to change appointment days or times on short notice, especially when we have to request time off from our employers in advance. Being asked to adjust appointments last minute can be inconvenient and stressful. Once I arrived, the appointment felt somewhat rushed, which left me hoping the echocardiogram was still completed thoroughly. As I was leaving, the front desk staff and receptionist were both on their cell phones and didn't even look up to acknowledge me as I walked out. I understand that schedules can change, but I would suggest improving the scheduling process and maintaining a more professional presence at the front desk so patients feel valued and respected.

Because my previous primary care physician retired, I transferred my care to Dr. Jiangnan Wang…read more(Professor Wang) as my new primary care doctor. Today was my first visit with Dr. Wang. Dr. Wang and his office staff made me feel very welcome, comfortable, and relaxed from the moment I arrived. What pleased me most is that Dr. Wang is also a cardiologist, which is a tremendous bonus for me. He took the time to thoroughly review my medications and provided highly professional, patient, and detailed guidance regarding my heart condition, including treatment, recovery, diet, and exercise. He also carefully addressed several other health concerns I brought up, explaining preventive measures and treatment options in a clear and thoughtful manner. I am extremely satisfied with my experience. I can only say that I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Wang. I highly recommend Dr. Wang, especially for Chinese-speaking patients seeking a knowledgeable, caring, and professional physician.

The front desk staff and management appear disorganized, and basic communication is severely lacking. I experienced confusion, delays, and a complete lack of accountability. She provided me with a rapid response " If you're a new patient I HAVE NOTHING FOR YOU, you can go to urgent care!" I asked if she can clarify to why I cannot be seen and she couldn't Answer. We visited the office on Friday and I was nervous and anxious as any parent would be. We were greeted with Anna who was friendly and patient while I was filling out the check in paperwork. She was also the one that took his vitals and did the EKG. During this time, she ask about any hereditary heart conditions in the family. She treated my little one with care and talked thru everyone that she was doing to my little one which helped him be calm and cooperative. After the EKG, we went into another exam room to wait for Dr Lai with the echo. It was a short wait unlike some of the other medical offices. Dr Lai was very friendly asked the same hereditary heart conditions as Anna which I really appreciated cause it showed that they were thorough and Dr Lai wanted to ensure that we were all on the same page. The echo started and Dr Lai also described everything that she was going to do ( like this wand was a camera to help her look at the heart and the gel was going to a little cold,etc). When the echo started , she took her time with every image and did NOT rush any part of the echo. One of the best parts was that when the echo started, she took out an iPad so my little one had something to keep him calm and still. A few more good things that I liked...completely the forms in a iPad, the waiting room had a toy car table to keep the little one entertained, the rooms were decorated so cute and the exam room had a toy that keep my little one busy. After the exam for being so good and cooperative, Dr Lai gave my little one a toy. I would absolutely recommend Dr Lai and team!
