However, during our next visit, the clinic refused to honor that credit, saying it would not be given because my child's father had not deleted his Yelp review. We were then charged another $77 for the same issue. Conditioning a refund or credit on the removal of an honest review is not only unethical but also a potential violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act (15 U.S.C. §45b), which prohibits businesses from penalizing customers for posting truthful feedback. He also kept us waiting very long in the room (in between our session) and was just a bit off putting. I may be a bit sensitive, but when it comes to my child, I dont want to be scolded, or feel anything less than warmth. I will be looking for a new doctor.
