I came in with an inspo pic and the nail tech said she could take care of it. After many attempts it was clear she wasn't very skilled with designs so she asked her co worker to step in. Neither of them could achieve the design and instead of cleaning up my nails she threw a couple of top coats on and asked if I was happy? No! I was nowhere near happy but after being there 2 hours I was ready to go. My nails are messy, bumpy, and the shape of the nails are thick and not even. She didn't bother drilling them down so they don't look clunky, even after I asked her to. Oh, she also cut my cuticle on my left hand too low, I left with it bleeding. My issue was specifically with one hairstylist and how my situation was handled. After my appointment, I noticed two very obvious bleach lines at the front of my hair near my face. It genuinely looked like two stripes of bleach if I wore my hair up. I reached out and asked if it could be fixed. I was brought back in, but there was never any apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. More bleach was added to try to cover it, but the lines were still visible afterward, just slightly less noticeable. I was even told, "As long as you don't wear your hair up, it should be fine," which was frustrating to hear, given the issue was still there. When I contacted the stylist again after getting home, instead of taking responsibility, she blamed my hair, saying it was because of my widow's peak. She also refused to issue any refund. What disappointed me most throughout the entire experience was the lack of accountability and basic customer care; not once was there an apology. I understand mistakes can happen in hair services, but professionalism and how those mistakes are handled matter just as much as the result.
