Corn dog craving satisfied!! Once you try one here nothing else compares. The hotdog is plump and the actual cornbread its is battered in is crunchy and sooo good. Don't think twice!

The Gobbler. They brine their turkey in-house and it's mind-blowing delicious. Apple slices on a sandwich... you won't regret it.

Not only does this place have an amazing selection of butcher meats, they also carry local fresh bread and eggs and milk, a wide range of items like flour, hot sauce, dry rubs, local honey and so much more. Additionally, they make THEE BEST deli sandwiches in the valley. The Gobbler and the Notorious P.I.G. are faves. And on weekends they sell BBQ. What doesn't this place have? It's a hidden gem and more people need to come here!

Best deli ad in 425 magazine

This place is amazing. The sandwiches are as good as any famous deli I've been too. I came because I saw them in the 425 magazines best of 2025, no wonder they won best deli! You won't be disappointed.

Not very friendly and outgoing. Didn't even greet any clients coming in at all. Corndog that was greasy and not crunchy and not worth 13$$$

If you are going to take over 40 minutes to make a sandwich you should let the customer know so they can decide if they want to eat there

Their salads and sandwiches are an easy go-to, and on weekends the smash burgers are worth planning around.

The chicken had a fantastic mesquite seasoning, paired perfectly with a pickled jalapeño aioli that added just the right balance of heat and tang. The bun was fresh and held everything together without getting soggy, which made the whole sandwich even better. I went with the mac and cheese bowl, and it was pure comfort food done right. The rich, creamy cheese sauce over large shell noodles was excellent on its own, but adding brisket took it to another level. The cornbread crumbles and potato chips added great texture, and a drizzle of Buckshot Honey BBQ sauce tied everything together. Every bite was loaded with flavor. What really stood out was the owner working behind the bar. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely engaged with guests, constantly checking in and making conversation. You can tell he takes real pride in his restaurant, and it shows in both the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend Buckshot Honey. We're already looking forward to coming back and working our way through the rest of the menu. And hopefully that chicken sandwich special makes its way onto the regular menu soon.

I first scooped into the baked beans and immediately said to my wife 'these beans are good.' Flavor packed. The ribs could fall apart more but they were juicy and tender. The spicy sauce (medium for the range) built nicely. I had fire mouth when I left but eating them was not overwhelming. If heat makes you buckle get mild.

Rhodie's features several types of sandwiches, a few platter options and a couple of combos. You can also order meats by the pound with the choices being beef brisket, chicken, ribs, pulled pork and hot links. We decided to share the SMOKIN' COMBO ($55) which included ribs, two quarter chickens and two hotlinks with our choice of two large sides. There are three options for sauce: mild, spicy and extra spicy. We went with the spicy sauce after the employee described it as being "middle of the road" in terms of heat. After we had placed our order at the counter, the employee brought over our food in less than 10 minutes, which was surprisingly quick. They must have all the meat prepared, so they just cut the pieces, slather on the sauce and scoop up the sides. When I say they slathered on the sauce, I am not exaggerating - just see the photo. All the meat came on a single plate and the sauce completely covered everything, with plenty of it also pooled at the bottom. Had we known, we would have requested the sauce on the side. It had a moderate kick of spice, but it was tolerable and not the kind that numbs your tastebuds. I loved the chicken which included two drumsticks and two thighs. The meat was perfect - succulent, juicy and fell off the bone. The ribs were very meaty and although the menu said the combo would come with four ribs, they actually put six on our plate; four large ones and two smaller ones. They had a nice smokiness to them and most of the meat was tender, with just some small spots of dryness. Finally, the hotlinks were plump and hefty with a good snap to the casing. Flavor-wise, I thought they were okay, but had they not come as part of the combo, I probably wouldn't have ordered them separately. We selected the coleslaw and baked beans as our sides, which they had scooped into plastic containers. Even though the coleslaw was basic with just cabbage and dressing, I really enjoyed it. The cabbage was super crunchy and fresh while the dressing was relatively light with an addicting seasoning. It was just right. The baked beans were average...sweet with some chunks of bacon cooked into the sauce. We managed to polish off the entire combo and were happily full by the end of it. When you have a carnivorous calling, it's worth stopping by Rhodie's!
