So my husband and I decided to swing by one morning to look around for a washing machine. Upon entry, we were promptly greeted by an employee who asked if she could help us with anything, and she directed us to where we could browse washers as well as the scratch n dent area. I asked about installation and she informed us that delivery was a $40 fee and installation $80. That seemed agreeable to us, so we opted to do that. We found a washer we liked for around 40% off the list price new on the manufacturer's website. During checkout we figured out what day/time to have them deliver and install. We declined getting the warranty, though it was offered to us for $120. They taxed the machine and install but not delivery. There was no additional fee for paying by card. The showroom certainly has many options available, and you'll find the usual appliances such as refrigerators, microwaves, ovens/stovetops, dishwashers, washer/dryers, along with chest freezers, mini fridge/wine coolers, water softeners, disposals, dehumidifiers, even an ice machine! They also have a parts department in the back if you need to repair something. There were no shortage of employees inside busy doing stuff. I'm used to so many places nowadays being ghost towns and having trouble flagging down an employee to help that this was honestly a nice surprise. We wanted to ensure we shopped a local business rather than hit up the Best Buy scratch n' dent place our realtor had recommended; no need to support the corporate elite. I used the restroom while there; it's spacious, modern, and they have the nice cushy toilet paper! The installers were prompt about arriving on the scheduled day. We were apparently missing an important couple of parts on our pipes, which they thankfully had on the truck, but it came with an unexpected additional cost of course. They did a sample run to ensure it was working, then left. Our first two washes went wonderfully, no issue. But the third spewed water EVERYWHERE when draining. We called for a follow-up and they scheduled it promptly for next day, free of charge. They were able to diagnose the issue was with our standpipe and advise us on recommended clog specialists to get the issue resolved ASAP.

When we arrived there were already lots of other people shopping. A salesperson approached and was nicely casual about helping out. Talked over a few options. Unfortunately they did not have the models on hand that he was looking for. Even though he had a pretty good idea of what he wanted, having an actual model to review would have helped. They were able to give him an estimate on the unit, including delivery and installation. I would use Tony in the future for deciding on appliances.

I mentioned the provider sent the claim this morning and asked if a claim number would help. He gruffly replied that "NO, it wouldn't." Regardless of a service provider not being sent the appropriate information, my expectation is that the interaction is still positive. So that when the plumbing/HVAC/etc company gets the information, I feel comfortable having them in my home. I then had to follow up and request next steps from him instead of giving me, the customer, some sort of summary. Oftentimes when you reach out to a plumbing organization, it is because of a 911 or stressful need. I can't imagine dealing with this gentleman in one of those scenarios. Will NOT be using.

We had to contact Hero Plumbing for the disconnect (ugh), and they came out to disconnect and we paid way too much. Hero came out the following day to do the reconnect and gave us the estimate of 2700.00, (no joke) which includes their garbage disposal. I declined and sent Hero on their way to fly and hose someone else. I called Boevaag to see if they had any cancelations, and Joe said, 'ya know what, we can come out tomorrow." Which was great, we bought a new garbage disposal and Boevaag came out as promised and reconnected our new sink for $235.00. Never a need to go to the big guys, stay local and they were fantastic!

The wire was behind the siding and wouldn't fix it. They said for me to do it and they'd reimburse me. The guy I had doing it didn't have the fancy sheet for the bill. He charged me $100.00 for his time and effort. He had to drill a hole to get the wire. Then he fished with his fingers. Took him about 2 hours. Called Dave the sales guy that came to my house. He wasn't helpful. I call the main office the same in the picture. I even drove down there and showed them the receipt. It wasn't good enough for the people in that building. They didn't reimburse me. As if I made this up or something driving down to the south metro taking my TIME. I decided right then and there I'd never use their company again. Few years later another hail storm. I forgot about it . Dave the same guy came back. He came to my house explained that they put 4 nail in per shingle extra. Was going to have them do that. Then it hit me about the previous time with my Air Conditioner wire. I told Dave about what happened previously he said he would payed me and would pay plus he was kinda upset because I was backing out of having them do my work. He didn't do this the last time. I was on my own to get my Air Conditioner working because ABC put the wire behind the new siding. This is a true story. Call me at 651 three 0 7- 18 zero 8 if you don't believe me.
