DO NOT go here. I just got my car back and had a terrible experience. They changed my catalytic converters and control arms and did a half job. My car threw a code right away and they blamed it on my "old parts" but I got it home and they left the O2 sensor unplugged. Oops. Not only that they let me leave the shop with support brackets under my drivers side suspension unattached with three bolts missing. I had to come back to the shop to get the bolts. When I was returning to do that, as I walked up the mechanic that worked on my car saw me, pick up several bolts off the floor, and scurried to the back. The owner then came out asking what was wrong so I showed her the missing bolts. Low and behold she had the bolts in her pocket. I had to go through an alignment twice because they got the camber so wrong my tires rubbed and ripped up my paint and wheel well. There is also a load roar from the driver's side wheel well upon acceleration, and a rattling that was not there before. They told me it was because my parts were old and rusty. And now, as I am fixing their mistakes I notice that the splash guard is missing for my transmission. This was after I'd asked them, in English and Spanish, to check and make sure I had all my parts because of how they let me drive away. Close to $700 spent here. What a waste. Everyone makes mistakes. These people lie about them. EDIT: After dismantling the work they did to the drivers side of my Jeep, they incorrectly installed the CV axle. That is what was causing the roar, not my "old parts" This is in addition to the O2 sensor being unplugged. Basically, money wise, I gave them $700, and got a car back that needed about $700 to fix. went to get my tire plug not knowing that I needed a new tire. soon as I got home it was back flat again. went back the nxt day and he wanted to charge me $50 for a used tire that was worst then the tire on my vehicle. While on vacation in Phoenix I had to drive on a spare tire en route to Sedona due toan issue with the driver side tire. I was desperate to get the original tire put back on due to the low comfort level of driving on the spare. I called Jay's Tire Shop and they responded right away. They checked the driver side tire and they said no problems. I paid a reasonable price to have the original tire put back on and the rental was back to normalcy. Stopped here at 6PM when my car got a flat on the way home from work. My car has weird tires, but none-the-less they found a used tire replacement and changed my tire in about thirty minutes. The workers were very polite and the price was extremely reasonable, especially compared to chain tire shops. They had me on the road in about forty minutes, which I felt was pretty quick, all things considered. I will go there again. They put on a new tire for me and the next day I already got on alert that my tire pressure was low! Went as low as 12 when it should be 32. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! WARNING!! THIEVES!! Went there for a flat tire... The guy looks at it and tells me it is $15 to fix. When trying to take it out he comes back and says it was damaged and tries to sell us a new tire. He shows us the damage and claims we ran it flat... which was not true. We decide to take it someplace else. He still charges us $10 for looking at the tire.. When we go to Discount Tire they tell us that the damage is NOT because it was run flat AT ALL. I visited the location on 24th street and Osborn. I received terrible service and the person who helped me was very unhelpful. I feel like I was ripped off for $10 dollars. I originally purchased 2 used tires and paid for 2 other tires to be plugged, I was charged up front. Later I was told one of the plugged tires would need to be replaced as well, simple enough. I figured since I had paid an extra $10 dollars to plug a tire, that $10 would go towards the purchase of a 3rd used tire. Instead, I had to pay the full price for the tire, and was told that the $10 I paid was now a service and labor fee. That is not how you do business and I was cheated out of $10 dollars which is unacceptable. I was trying to help a new business in my neighborhood but I will never be back here.
