I recently picked up a True T-72F for my residential garage relatively inexpensive. After getting…read moreit home, I noticed it wasn't working properly.. seller told me as much. Searched the True Manufacturing Company website and found Bennie's Commercial Refrigeration among other companies that were listed. Emailed his company and a few others. Bennie was the only one willing to come out to a residential location with a commercial freezer. Bennie called me directly and discussed a few details before scheduling a day for him to come out and diagnose the freezer onsite (my residential garage). He came out, ensured proper COVID-19 precautions were taken and he got to work inspecting the entire unit for any issues. He found approximately $1025 worth of repairs (majority in parts). He explained what he found and what could be done to minimize the cost of the commercial freezer if I didnt want to pay for everything in one repair. I went ahead and approved the estimate (he sent me the written estimate via email a few hours after he left my residence) and paid the invoice per his terms. A few parts had to be special ordered in and we setup a return visit for approximately two weeks later (conflicting work schedule). He returned today (Monday, June 15, 2020) at 9:47 AM and replaced everything that was ordered in and previously discussed. After 3 & 1/2 hours of replacing all of the worn out parts, testing and checking the freezer, he found out that the fan defrost termination and delay switch was preventing the freezer fans (the new fan motors were installed) from spinning up at all. A quick trip to the parts store and a new $40 dollar switch installed made the freezer boot up and cycle properly for the first time. Bennie ended up staying until 3:10 PM to ensure that everything was working properly and explaining what the next steps are. Bennie was through with the repairs, reassembly, testing, validating and explaining what issues cropped up. I couldn't have asked for a more honest tech. I will be calling him in the future for maintenance calls and any additional repairs that may come up and recommend him in the future to anyone who needs commercial refrigeration or freezer repairs or maintenance either at their business or residences. To anyone who reads this, if you are unsure about anything, just call Bennie up, describe the issue and he will give the answers that he can. If he has never seen your equipment first, then his answers will be limited until he sees exactly what is going on.

I have fostered a lot of dogs over the years, probably the most fulfilling unpaid job I ever had…read more The only down side is new dogs, especially one's who have had tough lives prior to entering rescue, sometimes have accidents, and unfortunately I have carpets. This is when carpet cleaners end up on your speed dial. I have used Al's service for years and they have always done a great job. He and his crew are great about fitting you in when you have a hectic schedule. And the big plus, is they don't bat an eye when they are greeted at the door by a few hundred pounds of dogs, who are happy once again, that they are out of the dog house again, because of Al's Carpet Cleaning.

We scheduled a date, when my husband took off work to be there for a 2pm appointment and turns out they had a "scheduling error", so asked me to reschedule. I did, on a morning we would both be there before work at 8am and the tech never showed. We work everyday and do not have the lives of sitting at home all week waiting for them to show up. I sent an email to request a refund and they asked if I could leave a key so they can come when it's convenient for them. I said no and now they have stopped responding. I have documented all interactions with this company. They should provide better customer service especially since they NEVER cleaned the couch yet took our money.

I played for Gold class package, and nothing different was done compared to a regular clean. Carpet was also left very wet. In fact I complained and they have conveniently avoided the issue. USELESS

Lee came out in very short notice and fixed the leather panels on a beloved Longhorn office chair…read morethat I gifted to my elderly roommate. While he was in the hospital my 10 month old kitty got into his room & clawed his chair. Fortunately Lee came over and made those panels look like new!! A leather couch I purchased from Star Furniture developed a rip on the seat cushion. I had what I…read morethought was a simple fix that turned out to be a major undertaking for other leather shops. They all suggested to have the couch taken apart in order to fix which would be ~$500 or more. Not to mention having to take it from my home. Sent the same pics to Lee and he said he could hand sew it on site. His quote was a fraction of others (less than $100) so I jumped at it. Once he arrived the job took about an hour and was exactly as I hoped. Time will tell if it holds but if anything gives first it will be the cheap fabric the manufacturer used on the couch. The only ding I gave would be communication/timing. He did keep up with email but there were delays. And even on the day of the repair, there was a job that kept him longer but he wasn't able to communicate this in a timely manner. All in all though his work is good and Leather Fix Austin/Lee is definitely recommended.
