It turns out that the bar had exactly 2 drink menus that everyone needed to share. Later, when the other guests ran off to the show (Jason Isbell) I grabbed a copy and took these photos. Outside of the snafu with the drink menu, everything was better than I expected. And everyone that works there is super friendly and welcoming. Keep up the good work TR people...

Expected to feel like we'd paid too much, but actually really enjoyed not waiting in a long line, getting a snack (pizza on this night), grabbing a few drinks and having comfy sofas to lounge on before going to find our seats. We also had access to a roped off area near the large bar just at the back of the general admission floor area, which was raised and where we had a clear view to the stage. We were also treated very well as we went back and forth from the lounge room to our seats, to the viewing area, etc. I'd do it again in a second. The only thing is I wish they'd announce what the snacks were going to be ahead of time. I feel like that could be easy to do and would be in line with their already good service. The concert was being shown in the Telegraph Room, too.

We've had so many of our guests tell us what a great time they had out on the dance floor listening to WGB. They had people of all ages out there whole time! They played a great mix of songs and even learned a new one for our first dance. You could tell that everyone in the band really loves their craft and were happy to be there. They had excellent energy and did a great job emceeing. Anna and the band were responsive and super easy to work with leading up to the event. We booked this band even before we secured the venue - now that says something!

The band was friendly, personable and played their heart out! They were so talented I couldn't believe we had them all to ourselves. Excellent Motown music perfect for a family party with young kids all the way through great-grandparents. Everyone who came to the party wants to hire them now! The half chicken also very dry (with a small line of BBQ sauce on it) it was so hard that I broke 2 plastic forks trying to get pieces of it off to eat. The most frustrating thing about the evening was what happened to the $60 meal that we purchased. Our 2 containers of food where on the top of a wine barrel directly behind us. We were standing no more than 3ft in front of this barrel watching the show. In between songs we were picking at our meal but rejoining our focus to the band once songs started kicking in. At some point while my wife and I were watching the show the Wente staff cleared our food. There was way more than half of the Brisket meal and about 3/4 of the Chicken dinner in these containers. I am not sure if someone asked if these meals were done and we didn't hear them over the music or if they simply didn't ask. I found a Wente employee and let them know what happened. The employee said oh, ok I will let the managers know and that was that. Very frustrating. At this point we will not be returning to the Wente Concert series events.

Seating is decided by the usher, though it seems you can reserve or get preferential seating if you have a dinner reservation or are a hotel guest. Drinks and food can be ordered and paid for by the QR code on your table. Really a relaxing and easy experience with great viewing angles all around.

They just do a spectacular job! Seating is convenient. Great view of the stage no matter where you sit. Their lighting and sound crew is fantastic. You have access to the drink menu and sometimes the dessert menu. The Liberace and Liza show is absolutely fabulous! These two are brilliant! Love every show we've ever seen, we travel from Portland just to see their show. We love that Feinstein's keeps inviting them back, we'll keep coming to see it! Truly, if you have an experience to attend any show at Feinstein's, you should go experience. A lovely, quaint, comfortable, cozy theater tucked away in the heart of SF!

Opened in 1922 as a vaudeville house, later a movie palace, it finally became a concert venue when Bill Graham brought Bob Dylan to the stage for multi-week residency in the 70s. The venue has over two thousand seats: midsized for the area. I've seen everyone from The Pretenders to The Arctic Monkeys here. Interpol, this week, was propulsive and memorable, with incredible lighting design. In terms of logistics and service, check in is usually efficient. The beverage program with recyclable cups works well. They have relatively comfortable chairs in the balcony, but leg room is tight unless in Lodge, where aisles are slightly roomier, but crucially so. (We try to sit when we can, and save our standing experiences for standing-room-only venues like GAMH. But if you like standing room, the venue feels very intimate from the floor.) The women's stalls in the bathroom are ridiculously tiny, and may require a yoga pose or two to successfully close the door. The staff range from super friendly and helpful to downright surly. We had a couple grumpy, brash male staff experiences last night, unfortunately. Despite a sometimes bumpy front of house experience, this is a classic SF theater with good acoustics and tons of character and atmosphere.

We usually get GA tickets because we like to be closer to the stage. On this night we saw Alison Moyet, Softcell and Human League. Surprisingly, I had never seen any of those musicians before. The sound was good. It helped that the music wasn't being played too loud. We sat in the lower balcony section. The seats are comfy and they give you a great view of the stage. Each row is quite a bit higher than the row in front of it so it's impossible to blocked out by someone in front of you - unless they stand up. They have at least a couple of bars. Check it out.

Not sure what can be done to improve the traffic flow, admittedly a Friday night, holiday weekend start.... Walkers beat us in from a 1 mile away. From their FAQ page; "EXPECT EXTREMELY HIGH VOLUMES OF TRAFFIC. We recommend carpooling, or taking BART and the free shuttle from Concord BART station to the Box Office." We were lucky enough to have our seats under the covered portion of the amphitheater, which provided shade. The seats were very comfortable with nice padding on the top of the seat. Although we didn't eat here, they did have a variety of food options to purchase as well as drinks and alcoholic beverages. Getting into the parking lot was brutal. I recommend arriving early to avoid being in a huge traffic jam. We had great seats and had a nice view of the stage. Sarah McLachlan was wonderful. She sang beautifully. We had a great time at the concert despite the 94 degree heat. I would definitely return to this venue in the future.

He played the Orator Version of Frederick Douglass, and another actor played the action character Frederick Douglass (and also had lines) during the Stage Reading Oration. When we arrived, there was plenty of street meter parking outside around the theatre. There is a brewery directly across the street and a Mexican Food Truck in front of the brewery. The food truck is a bit pricey ($16 per person). I advise that theatre goers explore having dinner prior to arriving to the show. The venue offers a full bar, coffee, hot cocoa, and vending type snacks. Snacks include: candy, Pringle Chips, fresh popped popcorn in boxes, bottled waters, and sodas. There are not hot food items nor sandwiches at the venue snacks/bar area. I recommend that they get pastries to sell to patrons, this would go a long way for those who ate dinner before a show. The theatre seats 90 people, there is a row up front in the orchestra pit area for disabled attendees. The stairwell aisles of the theatre are wide with 2 stair transitions, which is safer than most. The seats are a bit cramped, but cushioned. The sound and lighting is great for a stage reading format. Overall, this was a great experience and the cast came out afterwards to meet with the audience members in the theatre entrance foyer/lobby. Our friend, Wayne, and the whole cast, did an excellent job in this performance!

I can't imagine being disappointed with anything I chose to see here. We are planning to come see a play soon. And then a comedy show perhaps! Tickets are easy on the website and you even choose your own seats.
