I walked by this lounge when exploring Danville and decided to go back based on their aesthetic! It has a speakeasy vibe with peacock turquoise on the walls and dark wood moldings and rustic gold detailing. It's just beautiful to look at, the chairs are all cushioned and comfortable with side rooms for more privacy if you have larger groups. The bartenders are friendly and attentive- very pretty too!! The drinks are made perfectly- their specialty are "old fashions" and we tried the Chris Stapleton "Traveller" and it was very smooth! The portions are heavy and they have single large cubes which I appreciate!!! The crowd is diverse from bikers and rockers to older couples to girlfriends having a gossip sesh. Everyone was friendly and respectful and I liked that the music had a country vibe to it. They also have karaoke on Sun and live music on TH I think . Very cool spot! Loved it! read more

Extremely loud place with really snobby bartenders. Went there last night but I would never go back. The bartenders (2 young girls) thought they are royalties there and the term "customer service" doesnt apply to them. It's a customer's privilege to be served by them. They ignore customers waiting to order and YOU will need to speak up to order anything. I must have waited an average of 4-5 minutes each time I had to order a drink. The wait was not because the girls were busy - but because they disappeared inside the kitchen or were at the register chatting with each other without caring for waiting customers. I even saw one of them (blonde dyed) test-tasting every cocktail with a straw or drink excess in a shot glass. I dont think thats professional. read more

This is a nice bar to hang out and have a good drink. Drinks will cost you from $15-$20 each. They have nice vintage looking decor and lounge seating. It is very laid back, but has an upscale feel for downtown Danville. I enjoyed my French 75, and will be back with friends for another drink sometime soon. read more

I love me a good cocktail bar and I feel like there is nothing like Auburn Lounge in the Tri-Valley. It is an actual lounge intended to drink and open til 2 AM. lol It almost has a speakeasy feel. There is full bar seating, a few high table tops, 2 lounging areas with couches, and a patio. I went on a Friday night, it was packed in there! If you're sitting on the high-top tables or the bar, this is a typical bar experience, it's loud and you're pushing your way to get to the bar to order a drink. I got super lucky and ended up getting a seat on a couch for the night. These seats are a lot more intimate and a waitress actually comes and takes your order. Drinks were good, I had their version of an espresso martini and tried a few of their specialty cocktails as well like hartz sour and danville oak. They are not stingy with their liquor pours that is for sure, I also ordered a vodka soda, and that was basically all vodka...I wasn't mad about it though :) Service was fine. Eventually, the waitress got super busy, I believe she was behind the bar making drinks as well so we just went up to order, no biggie. Update: Awful place with dishonest management. Would give it 0 stars if possible. Do not come here. I cannot believe they overcharged me $12 when I have the receipt and account charges to prove it. Do not advertise a Yelp discount for checking in, and make a whole big deal about providing a code when you do not honor your word. My friend and I were in Danville for the evening and decided to stop by. Biggest ick was that they overcharged me $12 for something not on my tab at all, and I've still yet to resolve the dispute. You get a discount if you check in on Yelp, but this was effectively offset by the extra tab charge. Also had to wait a long time before being serviced, and the drinks were mid and overpriced. I'm a bit confused about the vibe they're going for with the colonial exterior and blue dim lighting within - there's not a lot of young people in the area and mostly white demographics. Just celebrated my girlfriend's (supposed to be) surprise party here. Was such a perfect spot as i threw a Disney Mardi Gras theme party! The 20's vibe of the bar totally fit the NOLA style. I had initially reached out to a few different places and Marc was the one who got back to me the quickest which was much appreciated. We were allowed to bring our own food which was great since that allowed me to get southern style food that fit the theme of the party. Day of, we were able to get there a couple of hours before the party started to set up in which his son Tyler came to help with that. Our bartender was his brother Matt who was such a great bar host. (I'll add that I love how it was all family involved since I come from a very tight knit family... that also owns a business as well). Matt was very personable, helpful, and the drinks he made were delish! All of our guests were very happy with their time there which is a huge plus! This is a family owned business that provided a very professional, easy, and fun celebration altogether. Birthday girl was very happy the whole time being there which made it so priceless. Several of my guests asked me how I found this spot and I gotta thank Yelp. Would definitely recommend booking your next party here and we would definitely have a party here again. 2 stars for the cute interior. But my dirty Tito's martini was $18. Another person there told me they were charged $23 for a bulliet rye. Listen, I never complain about drink prices but the bartender didn't even shake it. It arrived in front of me limp and lame. Anyone who's ever had a martini knows if you don't shake it properly (and all you had to do was give it the ol heave ho a few times, I'm not asking for ice chips)- it tastes like bath water. Now I understand why they don't have egg white drinks- these bartenders could never shake it properly enough to kill the bacteria. I went for a drink with some coworkers (females). Everyyyy bartender was extremely rude and did not want to help. It was very obvious they only attended to males. After about 15 minutes at the bar, a gentleman tried helping us get the attention of one & she was willing to help, once we shared our drinks she responded with "oh I work in the back, not up here". Instead of finding us someone to help, she avoided us. After that, we finally had to find another guy to order our drinks for us.
