This is "unreasonable hospitality" with a wrench in one hand and pure integrity in the other. Absolute mechanic Avengers energy. Huge shoutout to Lewis and Brian because I genuinely do not understand how this level of service exists in real life. I called when they were SLAMMED. Like, busy-busy. Fully booked. Chaos mode activated. Most places would've hit me with the "sorry, we can't help you" NPC dialogue and sent me back into the streets emotionally wounded. Not them. They worked with me, got me in, scolded me like family because I clearly needed it , and then got my car handled right away. And here's where it gets insane: they gave me a full detailed breakdown for free. No goofy scare tactics. No "your car is about to burst into flames if you don't give us your debit card immediately" nonsense. No fake emergency. No hard sell. No mechanical witchcraft. Just straight-up honest, professional, extremely knowledgeable service. I've been to tire shops. I've been to dealerships. I've been to places where you walk in for one tiny thing and somehow leave with a quote that looks like a mortgage pre-approval Not here. These guys actually explained what was going on, gave me realistic advice, and even educated me about how overusing tire shine can mess with the life of my tires over time. Who even does that anymore?? That is not salesmanship. That is actual care. That is elite-level integrity. The customer service was so good it felt illegal. Like respectfully, somebody needs to check if Lewis and Brian are running on premium-grade caffeine and divine purpose because this was ridiculous. Fast, honest, friendly, detailed, professional, affordable, and zero pressure. That combo basically doesn't exist anymore. And the pricing? Be so for real. For the level of service they provide, the price should be acting delusional. Instead, it was actually affordable. Like "why would you even think twice?" affordable. I'm genuinely using Car Aid - Waterford for everything going forward: auto repair, oil changes, maintenance, tires, diagnostics, whatever. I'm about to get a 2026 Hummer EV, and I would still come here for maintenance just because I actually like these people that much If you're in Waterford, Waterford Township, Highland Road, or anywhere nearby and you need an honest auto repair shop, stop playing with your life and come here. Lewis and Brian are elite. Car Aid - Waterford is the one. Customer service maxed out. Honesty maxed out. Value maxed out. Whole place is operating like a five-star cheat code.

Great service and amazing people who work with you…read more Reliable, friendly, trustworthy Above all Honesty Highly recommended

I should preface this review with the fact that I am a college Student with an incredibly crunched…read moreschedule and an old car with millions of problems. Master Radiator has been servicing my vehicles for the last 8+ years at least with excellent service. Most Recently, my power steering went out after my hoses for the unit ruptured. Of course, they took photos to show the damage, not just say that something's broken. They serviced it in a timely manner, but unfortunately there were some bumps in the road. They hired a NEW Technician who worked on the vehicle... who basically destroyed my rack & pinion, requiring a replacement, but *he didn't tell anybody.* After the desk called me to confirm they can fix the part (believing that it was broken before they had someone work on the car), they had him install a NEW one, and he destroyed that one too. At this point, they discovered that he was responsible for my original part being destroyed as well as the new one they were supposed to install. That technician suggested they just charge me for a new part & labor, and not disclose it to me. At this point in time, they fired said technician IMMEDIATELY. They called me, informed me of the situation, and then didn't charge me for either of the parts, or any of the labor. UPON RECIEVING THE CAR: I guess they could only find a Remanufactured part for my Rack & pinion. Remanufactured parts typically have light defects, and the new Rack & Pinion's defect was a little bit of play in my steering wheel. After reporting this concern to them, two of the mechanics came out to my car with me, did an inspection right in front of me, and explained that the part was Remanufactured, and there's a chance that if we replaced it again, there would be another defect... But we could still warranty the part out and get a new one if it was bothering me, but ultimately, the car WAS safe to drive (big thanks to Justin and Ben for seeing me right away) I decided that I'd gamble on the warranty, and Master Radiator definitely delivered. They installed a brand new R&P, and didn't even charge me for the labor! As far as I'm concerned, they took a really big financial hit to serve me, the customer. They will be keeping my business so long as I live in Michigan. 10/10, Definitely Recommend. Some service features to note: - You will be able to see pictures from the inspection so you don't just have to take their word for everything - You can call at any time and have them talk you through what they plan to do with your car if there's any confusion - You'll ALWAYS get an itemized bill - You can pick and choose through a list of *suggested* fixes, so you don't have to have to take the "All or Nothing" approach that most mechanics nail you with. And NO. They won't try to upsell you on stuff unless its legitimately necessary.
