K so if it were up to me we wouldn't have a car. We'd have something like busses or subways or cabs. Or legs for walking. Or concerned friends and neighbors to take us places? I'm a little defunct when it comes to taking care of a car. It probably stems back to the time a routine oil change turned into pretend-to-grab-that-girl's-ass-and-hope-she-doesn't-see-everything-you're-doing-in-the-car-door's-reflection. Also, one time they forgot to bolt the undercarriage of my car back on and half the protective plate fell out on the freeway. I vowed to trust no more car people. So when my husband informed me we had a flat tire, and needed to find a place to replace it, I just kinda sat there. "Look online" he said. I typed. "What am I looking for?" I said. "Tires" he said. I typed "TIRED." He took the computer. Though I was convinced we were setting ourselves up to be swindled and cheated, I went to Belle Tire. When my husband asked the guy behind the counter for new tires, the suspiciously friendly-looking mechanic came out to take a look. Smiling, he said, "Let's see if we can save you guys some money today." After 2 cups of free coffee (yay!) and 20-30 mins waiting, we saw our guy round the corner. "You had three nails in your tire so we were able to fix it." Relieved, we approached the counter to pay. "Oh, no charge." Let me emphasize, this was our first time here. We were not repeat customers, we've never been in their system before, not in any state. This smiling man behind the counter just made our day. Even if it's an easy fix, our tire still cost him 30 minutes of labor, product and coffee; we drove away scot-free. Definitely glad to give Belle Tire a chance to change my mind about the industry. Attention Mini Cooper, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc. owners! Before making an appointment for a front end alignment and two new tires at the Waterford MI location at M59 & Telegraph, I specifically asked if Belle Tire could complete a front end alignment on a Mini Cooper Countryman. I was assured that Belle Tire could get it done "no problem." After I paid the $532 bill, including for a $30 alignment protection plan," I was handed a picture of the rear toe and was told to "take the car to the dealership to complete the job because Belle Tire doesn't own the special tool required to adjust the toe-in." Right, the dealership will just jump in and complete Belle Tire's work?? And I have nothing better to do than take the car to two different shops and pay 2 different shops for this work? read more

Waited over an hour for a warranty tire repair, which I understand can happen, but just for them to tell me they didn't have the tire in stock. Went here to get my tire patched, store immediately suggested I order new tires because there wasn't enough tread for the patch. I clearly had tread left as I went to another tire store and they told me my tread was at "5". Said they wont touch it it's at a "2". Would not recommend this specific belle tire location. It was hailing near this location so I pulled my new $70,000 Dodge Hellcat in their garage. The manager came at me all bowed up and kicked me out of the garage and back into the hail. He said they needed to get another car out but none was ready. He then shut the door. He didnt have to help me but he didn't have to kick me out to get hail damage. I hope his life improves. I am not very car savvy so I showed the my problems and they were very understanding and polite. I took my car to Belle Tire on Telegraph Rd. In Waterford to have my tires rotated and an alignment. I was told that my tires were old and mismatched and that unless I bought 4 new tires from them they wouldn't do it. My tires are not that old and were just fine. I called the main office to complain and spoke with Mike who works remotely from his home in Redford. He told me he would look into it and get back to me. Guess what? No call back. I never been more disappointed with a business than what I experienced with Belle tire as a first time customer. I went to Belle tire because my family goes and received great customer satisfaction. I ordered brand new tires on black Friday and was told to come back the following Thursday at 3:30 because I told Ronnie the manager I got out of work at 3pm. I paid for my tires and a Wheel alignment. I came in Thursday at 3:30 and was told I didn't have an appointment. I think the guy name that day was Mike, he looked on the computer and said he see's a note that I will be in after 3pm. Told me he doesn't have time today than changed his mind and asked if I could leave my car. I said yes, because I live walking distance so it wasn't an issue. I received a call from Mike and he told me my car was ready. I went to pick it up and he handed me my keys and said I was all set. It wasn't until 2 days later (Saturday) I was driving on the highway and my car was pulling a lot to the left. It was obvious there was something wrong. Sunday Belle tire was closed so I asked my mom to take my car in for me while I used her car to go to work. My mother said that when she went in an explained how I thought the wheel alignment wasn't' done they were nice at first and looked at the computer and said there wasn't one done. She said "well she paid for it I have the receipt" the man told my mom we wouldn't charge for service prior to the work. My mom showed them the receipt and said well you did. That's when the guy looked confused and said he will get Ronnie that helped me. After talking and explaining the situation with my mom Ronnie told my mom that he told me to make another appointment for a wheel alignment. THAT WAS A LIE, because when I picked up my car I didn't see or speak to Ronnie. He could of been there in the garage but he was never in the lobby when I picked up my car. My mom knew and could tell he was lying. If he would of just owned up to his mistake I would of understood and been okay with the situation and wouldn't be here today writing this review. But, he didn't and never apologized. I understand people make mistake. He lied and if I would have never brought my car back I would of been charged for a wheel alignment without actually getting one. read more

I had an appointment for 9am Monday morning. As with most businesses that close for the weekend or part of it, it was very busy even tho they were already open for an hour. That was my only issue, is that they did not have enough employees to handle the business. But Matt was pleasant & got me started once he was finished with his call. They were able to get my tire checked (found I had a screw & retaining pin in it) and replaced with in 30 minutes or so. Everyone in the garage & service area was great. I got tires from Costco. Costco had no proper wrench for them to remove my locked rims. I looked at all the auto parts store to find that special but missing tool. nothing could i find. someone suggested Belle Tire in Pontiac. Oh man. they had just what i needed. they sold me one for $7 but it i needed the larger one. went back. it was $10. The guy handed the new $10 one to me and said "just take it, its on us." Super impressed with this place and Phil Mason who works there. I ran over a nail and went to the closest location which was Waterford. Phil the assistant manager didn't have a new tire in stock but was right on top of ordering one. I didn't want to wait and he helped me locate a tire at the local Chrysler dealership because of the time-frame I was working in. He went above and beyond for me even though I wasn't getting the tire from him. He even filled the air pressure in my flat so I would make it to the dealership. They had my wife's car in for service I was trying to pick it up by six called them and said I was going to pick it up in the morning got a flat tire in my personal car two blocks away from their arrived five minutes late after they closed in the employee would not let me in to get my wife's careven though he clearly had all the keys to the building and I even offered to buy four tires for my car on the spot if he would help me we had dinner reservations and I could not get my spare he was rude to me and offered me no suggestions and no help. I made it through my crisis returned the next day at 8:30 am walked in and saw 3 employees standing around while a fourth helped an angry customer. I stood there while they ignored me for what felt like about 3 minutes. Finally I asked for help, this clearly annoyed the men. The man that began to help me was in the middle of explaining the repair (he wasn't going to explain I had to pry answers from him) he stopped in the middle and completely stopped talking to me when a pretty girl walked in. He never even handed me my keys and immediately went out to look at her car forgetting all about me, my keys, and my repair. I walked around the counter myself, grabbed my keys, and walked out the door. I walked right passed him outside and he glanced my way rolled his eyes and kept talking to the girl.
