Every session feels both challenging and supportive. Camille has a real gift for explaining movements clearly, adjusting for different levels, and making sure you get the most out of your practice while keeping proper form and alignment. Her classes strike the perfect balance between strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. I always leave feeling stronger, more centered, and motivated to come back. Whether you're new to Pilates or experienced, Camille creates a welcoming environment where everyone can thrive. If you're looking for a Pilates instructor who is professional, caring, and truly passionate about helping her students, Camille is the one!

Attendance was strangely sparse - sometimes there would be one or two other people in the class, but mostly it was just me. In hindsight, that should have been a huge red flag. In my first month, the instructor no-showed for one of my classes. I considered cancelling my subscription then and there, but she promptly apologized and credited my account, so I decided to give her another chance. In my second month, she no-showed THREE TIMES IN A ROW. I waited days for her to respond to messages. When she finally did, her messages were incoherent. She never credited my account. I cancelled my subscription and got my credit card company to refund my money. Clearly this is a pattern for her, and I can only assume she doesn't really want to be in the business of running a Pilates studio. But continuing to let people sign up and pay for expensive monthly subscriptions is SHADY if not fraudulent.

Pilates: I love attending the reformer classes, particularly Alba's and Jessica's, but I've attended most if not all of the instructors' classes and they've all been great. The weekend classes do get kind of quick so it's better to book in advance. Gym: Clean, never packed (at least when I go). I always find space to stretch with no issue and have never had to wait for what I need. People put their weights back. There are spray bottles and cloths to wipe what you use after. The bathrooms are clean, and the red light sauna is a treat (honestly my deciding factor for adding the membership lol). I've yet to use the cold plunge or the showers. You get $10 off when you have more than 1 membership. I had a billing issue in the beginning and they were very responsive and helpful. All together I pay $164/mo for both. The lack of a parking lot is a mild inconvenience, but street parking is hardly an issue with all the residential streets with free parking around Park. Great gym!!

Even during busy hours, it never feels overcrowded. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about creating a positive environment for all fitness levels. The atmosphere is motivating without being intimidating, which makes it easy to stay consistent. I can't recommend my personal trainer (Katherine) and Rise highly enough! From day one, they've been professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in my progress. Every workout is well-structured, challenging, and tailored to my goals and fitness level. They push me just the right amount while always making sure my form is correct and that I'm training safely. If you're looking for a trainer who is reliable, encouraging, and results-driven, this is absolutely the one. Worth every penny!

It was a great balance of multiple options that a typical pilates class might include. The class was packed to the brim with 12 students, but it didn't feel crowded. It was very clean. There wasn't a ton of space for people to wait for the previous class to finish, but it wasn't a big deal. There are lockers (just crates; no locks) to stow your items. There is a water fill station. We brought our own grippy socks, but there are socks available for purchase. There is plenty of parking. There was a waiver we filled out and brief information was shared at the end if we were interested in signing up that day. Obviously, prices change/ fluctuate and pilates classes are generally quite pricy, and that's true here too. Leading up to the class, it was easy enough to sign up. I wanted to take the class with my sister, but it was full. However, it somehow worked out that we were in the same class. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

KO1 Roundhouse uses a combination of Muay Thai techniques, cardio, circuit, weights, and strength training. You get a little bit of everything. The gym is setup where it's super convenient to drop in anytime you want during their opening hours. I love that I don't have a set time I need to be there because my work schedule fluctuates. Once you arrive, you start in the first round with jump rope to warm up. You then progress to some weights, and then get to box on the bags. Every day the workout changes so you aren't doing the same thing over and over. You get a personal trainer to guide you through each exercise and they will also hold pads for you for an extra workout. You can finish the training in 33 minutes or even stay longer. Their hours of operation are also really generous and I find I can always find a time slot within their opening hours to drop in. The facility is brand new and super clean. The staff cleans after each round so I feel I don't have to worry about someone else's sweat on the bags. The equipment is high quality and brand name. Cool gear too for purchase with shirts, sweatshirts, and boxing gloves. I'd highly recommend you give KO1 a try, they are great for all levels. New members can try a class for free before committing. Monthly membership fees are affordable and so worth it! P.S. They also do Muay Thai classes that you need to preschedule in advance but I haven't had time to check it out yet.

It's also great if you'd rather not have anyone else in the class looking at you because everyone is watching Lynda. Lynda has one hour classes as well as half hour workouts throughout the week at various times, so it's easy to catch a workout. i'm beginning to wonder if when the pandemic is over, whether she will still have workouts on-line because virtual workouts seem to work so well.
