There are A LOT of choices if you want to workout outside of the home. A few of the bigger things…read moreto consider will always be time and money. My old gym membership had expired and it was time for me to figure out what I wanted to do next. I started researching some options: Yoga, Gym, Boxing, Pilates, Kickboxing, Private trainer and more. It's mind boggling but more importantly it's wallet emptying.. I was trying to find a place where I could workout whenever I wanted and not have to wait for a machine or make an appointment for a class but also not break the bank. 9Round is not only the best value compared to all the other options, but you can go anytime on any day within their hours (5am - 11pm). There are trainers there to help and guide you during specific times and there are also tv's at every station to show you how to do the workouts. There are 9 stations - and you will spend 3 minutes at each station w/a 30 second break between stations. The trainers are super helpful to show you how to do the workouts correctly, work on your form and even give you a mental push if you need/want it. The best part is you can go as often as you want, and the workouts change daily so you won't get bored of the same routine. It's very clean there and have yet to run into some of "those gym people" who are wearing makeup or cologne and want to be seen. Quick tip - if you want workout with fewer people or without a trainer on site, you can go during hours when they are not available. I usually workout between 1-3pm and it's a much quieter time.

I have not used their services but the representative on the phone was very helpful.

I'm so happy I found this amazing gym!…read more I will start off by saying how great the coaches are here! They are very patient, understanding, and very knowledgeable! I was always intimidated of weightlifting and would shy away from it all the time. I was one of those girls that would go to the gym and just use the treadmill or the elliptical. I would always want to use other machines but felt like I wouldn't use them correctly. One day a colleague of mine told me about crossfit, and at first I didn't want to go but one day I said "why not?". I'm so happy I decided to go because that's where my life changed completely! I was introduced to Zeb who was the one that trained me. He was so patient, nice and great to work with! I love how everyday is a different workout! They focus on technique and get you prepared for each workout. The members here are very encouraging and we push each other to do our best! I had never been to a gym where the community is so engaged, friendly and fun! Yes! It doesn't feel like I'm making myself come to the gym, it's now part of my lifestyle and I love it! Aside from Zeb, the rest of the coaches like Tyler, Troy, Rene and Luke are all great! The facility is nice and oh yes...great locker room with showers! You will not regret coming here, so please check it out if you're in the area!

I really loved going here but my recent experience with their Saturday sculpt class was not fun…read more It did not seem like they limited the class size, and it was SO full that our mats were touching the neighbor to the left and right. There was no space whatsoever, it was cramped and gross. I had my water bottle ON MY MAT, and the person in front of me was so close to me they kicked it over like 3 times throughout their class. The person to my left was flinging sweat on me everytime he transitioned moved. Because the class was so full they ran out of weights too, so I was left with an 8 pound weight and a 2 pound weight.... The person on my right kept heavy breathing and I felt every breath on me as he was that close. At one point he coughed and I felt that too. They either don't limit the number of class spots or they set that number super high. It was genuinely disgusting and I wanted to leave early but I didn't want to climb across people to get out... I also forgot my mat and they charged me $10 for a rental!! Which is a A LOT!! It used to be $3 a few months ago, tell me why it's now $10?!!! That's so expensive for just a rental?

I respectfully disagree with the reviewer that talks negative about an instructor, particularly…read morewith the feedback about Mayra's "attitude/mood." I'm honestly saddened to see a review focus on someone's perceived mood rather than offering constructive feedback about the instruction itself or how the experience could be improved. I've been going to Bunda since 2018 and have taken classes at Encino, Mar Vista, Santa Monica, Thousand Oaks, Studio City, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Costa Mesa, Third Street, and even the studio in Miami. With that experience across so many locations and instructors, I can confidently say that Mayra is one of the best instructors I've taken. What stands out to me is her knowledge, attention to form, and ability to motivate the class. She genuinely pushes clients to follow the Bunda method and progression, which is important if you're serious about getting stronger and actually seeing results. Her corrections are helpful, and she creates an environment that challenges you to give your best effort. Everyone has a different personality and teaching style, and not every instructor will be the right fit for every person. But I think there's an important distinction between saying an instructor isn't your preferred teaching style and criticizing someone based on how you perceive their mood. If you're serious about your progress and want an instructor who is knowledgeable, attentive to form, and will push you to improve, I highly recommend trying one of Mayra's classes at Mar Vista or Manhattan Beach. I've taken classes with her and have had a completely different experience than what is described in this review.

(This review is for fitness training with David S)…read more I can't recommend David highly enough. As a former college athlete, he brings a deep level of knowledge--not just in building strength and fitness, but also in injury management, recovery, and long-term sustainability. That expertise shows up in every session. As an athlete in my mid-40s with my fair share of injuries and the wear and tear that comes with age and life, David has been very helpful. He has helped me stay consistent, get stronger, and avoid setbacks. What really sets him apart is how attentive and adaptable he is. He adjusts workouts on the fly based on how you're feeling that day, while still challenging you in the right ways. He brings great energy, a positive attitude, and a sense of humor that makes tough workouts enjoyable. And after the workout he takes you through stretches, which is a great way to end the session. It helps me feel calm and restored as I transition to the next thing. Beyond all of that, David is simply a kind, genuine person who truly cares about his clients. It's clear this is more than a job for him--it's his mission.

I asked my primary doctor for a new referral for my PT she sent me here and OMG, what a difference, Johnny really took the time to hear me out, hear my concerns, we tackle literally everything on my back and around what it was bothering me, he taught me new ways to work out, we find out what I was doing wrong, he taught me even how to run and breath correctly. My lower back pain is gone, I can bend easily, I am not afraid all the tine to hurt myself. I am so grateful for him. The front desk staff is not friendly all the time but that's ok.
