So I recently started a free 2 week trial with Class Pass and saw F45 as one of the gyms available to try out... so I decided to stop by the Lake Nona location for a quick workout. This F45 is located within a strip mall and had a decent amount of parking available around the gym. Upon entering, I was greeted almost immediately and checked in. This spot is pretty spacious and very well lit. The gym is broken up into separate stations with each station having a clear view of the tv which displays the workout needing to be completed. The trainers Leo and Leah were fantastic! They definitely helped with putting me at ease... since it was my first class and all. They did a quick demo of each workout and they also placed me in the same stations as one of the regulars so that they could help me if needed, which I truly appreciated. Overall, I really enjoyed F45! I like the fact that it's a 45 min session each time...and you truly feel accomplished by the end of the work out. I will definitely be back soon to try the other classes!

I attended a 3-peat class involving 3 repeats of 10 stations that involved a variety of movements and equipment. The high intensity intervals really work your entire body and get your heart pumping at its limit. Lindsey and Nyna were amazing coaches, and since it was my first time, they provided plenty of encouragement and suggestions for alternative ways to do the activities. It was definitely a challenge, especially for someone like me who only runs and has no arm strength. But I left in a bright mood (from all the endorphins and adrenaline) and knowing I'd become stronger. Apparently the class I took only happens around once a month. They usually have cardio classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and weights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The facility and equipment were very clean and finding parking was easy. The pricing is not pretty but is as expected for many serious gyms in Lake Nona. It's $65 for two classes every 2 weeks or $180 every 2 weeks for unlimited classes.

They offer different types of classes depending on your level of skill and also have a strength class with weights which is so beneficial for women of all ages! They have a drop-in class available but mostly operate under memberships, which include 4,8,12, or unlimited classes per month. Their prices are similar to the typical Pilates studios. The studio itself is gorgeous, very relaxing! They have a check in desk, merch, and personal lockers available. You must use grip socks, and they are available for purchase if you need a pair. I ultimately did not join because I prefer the faster pace of modern Pilates, but I will be open to drop-in in the future for a more relaxed class experience. The staff is welcoming and friendly and I would absolutely recommend everyone to give it a try!

I've never found a musical theater dance class so I planned to take the Tuesday one with Alyssa if I recall her name correctly. We did a song from Princess and the Frog. I have a newfound inspiration I didn't even know it was a thing until Orlando's very own musical theater dance classes! It was awesome. Packed class. Front desk had good customer service. Located in a shopping plaza facing Narcoossee Rd, this studio has a shared parking lot with the other surrounding businesses with access to a good amount of parking spaces. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised of how clean and spacious the space is. They split up the studio into 2 sections...where in the front they have reformer machines for regular pilate classes and in the back they have a heated room for the hot flow classes. Both of the times I have gone I had such amazing instructors for hot pilates. They both were very patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating when it comes to providing alternative modifications if needed... and boy... let me tell ya'll I left drenched in sweat... feeling extra relaxed! I would definitely recommend Hili fitness to any pilates enthusiast or even any newbies like me! Make sure to bring your own yoga mat and grip socks for class and get ready for an amazing workout!

I've taken both types of classes - reformer and hot mat, and I enjoy them both for different reasons. I am constantly humbled in every class, and leave feeling like I had a great workout. I would not recommend the reformer classes to absolute beginners because the classes are fast paced and the reformer machines have a lot of working parts and can be overwhelming at first. Sometimes the music and the instructor's microphone are too loud but that seems to happen more often in the reformer room than in the hot mat room. The majority of the instructors here are friendly, but I have experienced one or two classes where the instructor wasn't very polite or patient (and seemed to get frustrated when I didn't understand her cues for switching positions on the reformer and raised her voice). I love the music and the lighting and I enjoy the workouts.

They have a wide variety of classes for all levels and have a great schedule for people who work. I've always struggled with finding workout classes that fit with my 9-5 work schedule, and I love that I've been able to consistently go with Halo's offerings. Jaylen, Rachel, and Hatty are awesome and so friendly! They're great at demonstrating and explaining the moves; as well as providing corrections when needed. The studio is bright, clean, and sooo beautiful. I love being there. Parking can be difficult if you're coming later in the day unfortunately, but it's not impossible.
