Rack Room Shoes is usually quite organized and clean and have a vast array of options. The only thing I could suggest for improvement would be more seats to try on the shoes (You kind of have to stand awkwardly in an aisle way, hoping not to knock into someone or something), as well as the friendliness of the employees. On multiple occasions, I have noticed that the ladies that are employed here never smile or offer any kind of impression that they like their job. You need to fake it just a little bit better. We went back to the store to buy the same pair because he liked the way they fit so much and we asked the manager, Amber, for assistance and even though we did not have the receipt, she graceously allowed us to return the bad sneakers. After checking their instagram page hours later I saw that they posted the same shoe that I purchased ( pink maison Mihari's ) for advertisement as if they were trying to make a sale on the shoe that I JUST bought from them. That warranted me to Direct Message them on instagram inquiring about when will my order (order#21498 ) be shipped out. The first response I got was "can you send a picture of your ID?" ( I was completely taken back because, are you guys requiring identification for ALL casual, anonymous online shoppers? That doesn't make sense.. but I digress) I sent them a picture of my ID (knowing that something is off with this "establishment") after that the establishment promised that the order will be shipped on Monday ( MAY 4).. on May 4 the establishment initiated communication in the DM with me, expressing that they will not be able to ship out the shoe's because the ADDRESS ON MY ID doesn't match my SHIPPING ADDRESS & BILLING ADDRESS. (As if it's not a common thing for people to have a different STATE ID from which their CURRENT address and billing address is.) I'm explaining to them that my billing address is the SAME as my shipping address that's ON THE ORDER. So what's the issue? ( If I didn't iniate communication after seeing you guys post the shoes that I JUST BOUGHT in the first place, then you guys would have just held on to the order or cancelled it ? Without any valid reason???) the fact of the matter is I WAS PROFILED due to my geographic location ( NEW YORK CITY) and the business was looking for ANY reason TO NOT fulfill my order.
