The brownie was quite good, I felt it was rich and you could totally share it with a friend. However, my mom devoured hers with no assistance... so that could be just me. The cheesecake. Well you should know I am a totally cheesecake snob. It's ok, I'll admit it. My dad and I would alwys taste and rate cheesecakes when we would travel. I wasn't sure what to expect from this one. But. It was Lucious, creamy, rich, not too sweet and the texture was phenomenal!! While we were there we got to meet Keith. He is the owner, and his lovely bride. They both chatted with me and my mom for a few minutes. They had such a caring way about them. Keith also told me that they started serving lunch. When I arrived at the scheduled pickup time, the cake had not been made because the baker had my phone number recorded incorrectly and was unable to contact me. While she did quickly try to "make something happen," the result was far from what was ordered. The cake design did not resemble a Minnie Mouse theme-- a paper "2" had been printed, cut out, and attached to the cake, and random butterflies were added that did not match the theme. In addition to the design issues, the cake itself was completely frozen at pickup. It was extremely difficult to cut during the party and crumbled badly once sliced, making it difficult to serve. Considering the cake cost $193, I was very disappointed and even had to redecorate it myself before the party. I also called afterward to express my concerns, but during the conversation the baker continued speaking with someone else while I was talking and did not seem interested in addressing the issue. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the quality of the product and the lack of customer service were very disappointing for such an important event.
