It is SO UNFORTUNATE that JC Auto has new ownership. They do not care about their customers especially as a 15+ year customer that has brought several vehicles to their shop. They talk in circles, say one thing then change it in the middle of the conversation. Try to backtrack and flip the conversation and service they will provide. I cannot say enough good things about Rick and his team. We had our cars shipped in the dead of winter and in sub freezing temps. After two days in Minnesota my GMC Yukon flashed a warning light and immediately the car wouldn't drive higher than 25 miles an hour. Being new to the area several of our church families recommended JC Motors as the place to go. Rick found the issue and highlighted all the work my former dealership had done and gave sound advice to not fix unnecessary items. You can't beat his price on oil changes and he has great cost and advice on tires which is huge for a Californian living in snow. I have had a terrible experience with this establishment, from them trying to scam me with Untrust worthy claims and over priced services, I went in needing a new power steering reservoir and JC automotive told me I needed a new power steering pump for over $1,500. Brought my car else where and got the reservoir replaced for less than $300 and haven't had an issue with it since. JC automotive can not be trusted as they make false claims on your vehicle to try and scam you into something you don't need. I also had a poor experience with Rick over the phone. I called asking about a part for a different car that they have serviced many times over the years to then be told "Ya we don't work on those" and then he hung up, Overall terrible costumer service and terrible service will not be recommending this place to anyone and I advise you to take your vehicle elsewhere. read more

The brake light in my wife's car had been flashing intermittently for about a week, so I scheduled to bring it in to JC Automotive on a Wednesday. Due to my own work schedule, I called to ask if I could bring it in the Tuesday before and drop it off. They told me that wouldn't be a problem. While dropping it off, I confirmed with the gentlemen at the office what the issue was. He immediately asked if I'd checked the brake fluid. I know nothing about vehicles, so he suggested we go take a look. Sure enough, the brake fluid was low. He explained to me what the brake fluid's role is while topping it off. He then told me to take a drive and see if the brake light continued to flash. When I asked if I could pay him for the fluid or his time, he just told me to come back next time our vehicles needed a service. The fluid did the trick, I gained some vehicle knowledge, and I didn't pay a dime. I appreciate the quality of service and graciousness I was shown at JC Automotive and will absolutely bring my vehicles in next time I need a service done! read more

This repair shop, tucked away as part of Freeway Motors, is a little jewel of a place. The Manager, Rick, is as good as it gets. Personable, up front, explains all costs, and doesn't gouge you. I have had my vehicles in twice and both times they did exactly what I asked for, no additional services were recommended and he even talked me out of doing more work. What!?
