What used to be a very cold room is now toasty warm and looks great. About a month ago they put a new roof on our extra large shed they also rehung the four doors some that did not open looks brand new.Now let me get to the best the bathroom first let me say that Carlos went over the planning with us making great suggestions together we developed and came up with a plan that met all our needs and wishes.The job-Carlos was hands on every day would come check the work and listen to our wants and needs and together with Carlos we would make changes if needed.The workers- Chris and Jose let me say the two hardest workers they worked from the moment they arrive till finish time.They work clean and quiet and polite But most important, Chris is a perfectionist when it comes to tiles Chris's work is masterful . In addition to the pressure wash and stain to our home, we also needed several carpentry items done. Carlos' excellent carpenter did a top notch job replacing damaged siding and the difficult job of adding copper flashing caps to the many beams extruding from the house (post & beam). So when I meet someone like Luis, it seems all the more incredible. After being ghosted, gouged, ignored and subjected to amateur work, Yorktown Painting Home Improvement is a d*amned miracle. Luis is polite and professional, called us back and showed up when he said he would for an initial walkthrough. That in and of itself is impressive, given our experience with local contractors. His bid was more than fair (it was half of our highest bid) and his crew was able to start the project quickly. Here's where it seems too good to be true- they showed up every morning early, worked until dark, left the job site neat and organized, and finished the job ahead of schedule. They did Sheetrock installation and repair, a bit of framing and painted walls, ceilings, closet doors and trim for us in our great room and a spare room conversion, and it all looks incredible. The attention to detail is clear, and we still can't believe they did so much so well in such a short period of time. I was blown away by our experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Luis. The kitchen wall was removed and a huge beam was installed. All new electrical, plumbing, heating, insulation, tile flooring, cabinets, countertop and windows. The finish work of skim coating, crown molding, and paint was expertly done. Raul Pacheco did all of this step-by-step, with an incredible team of craftsmen. It is important to note that before choosing Raul, we did a lot of research and received proposals from many contractors, some of them MUCH more expensive. In the end we really liked Raul's honesty, temperament, attitude and experience. He was also able to keep this extensive remodel within budget. We are very happy with the results and will be hiring Raul to do another project for us in the next month.
