I call the Murrieta office, speak to a gentleman who tells me to ignore it since I am all up to date. Fast forward to 3 months later I have now received a notice from a collections agency for the same amount I had called about and was told all was paid and up to date. Turns out a new policy was written and a balance was left on the old which no one was competent enough to catch even when asked about it point blank. Now, my credit score is impacted AND my current policy is still with them - for now. What is the purpose of having a broker? What is the benefit of being with Barranca? Why call and speak to a representative when they don't care to actually help? What needs to happen to have the same people getting payment for a service to care about actually providing said service? If you are shopping for insurance I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

Several days later I got a text back with a link to an online insurance application, which I filled out and requested quotes from specific companies that they represent. Instead I got a quote from a no name company at a very high price compared to my other inquiries. I gave them a chance to earn my business because of their good reviews here on Yelp, but they blew it. Not worth the trouble. I'll look elsewhere.
