JCI Audio is rooted in the rich history of Detroit’s legendary music scene. Our owner, Jan, grew up during its golden era, playing and working shows at iconic venues like the Grande Ballroom. She spent years collaborating with Motown musicians and working in local shops specializing in instrument repair, speaker restoration, and custom-built sound systems. Over time, Jan developed a deep, hands-on understanding of both live performance and audio engineering. That lifetime of experience is the foundation of JCI Audio today. Every detail of our space reflects a commitment to quality, authenticity, and the needs of working musicians. At JCI Audio, our goal is simple: to provide a space where artists can sound their best, feel inspired, and create without limitations.
