I came here to find a pack of T-shirt's for my kiddo and what a mess. Everywhere in this store is not touched or "picked up" empty spaces everywhere and even their jewelry area has old and dusty displays. Of course, I'm not blaming staff; that is on management. They see what we see and if they are ok with that, then I will drop it lol *Displaying product is an important selling point. It was a bit frustrating seeing all these registers but no people. Some times it's open upstairs until the men's section (that's if the clerks are hiding in the back (made eye contact and she literally walked backwards into her closet. I knew the bottled water left by the register was hers, so she had to come back soon, right? Customer then tells me that there's no Hope waiting upstairs and to go to the main check out line. Never forget the make up/ perfume reps that could (and have) rung us up, but suddenly, they were quick to say no unless it's their specific product. (They were doing nothing-no customers) In the end, we came to the main floor. Waited. Watching employees ring up. Send customers away. Hear them gossip a few minutes until some one *coughs* then snaps back to going about their actual professional business. I reckon, it we are going to have a one stop check out spot, let's just get it done. If break are needed go, but please don't just stand there, doing nothing... talking to your colleague, when there's a plethora of customers waiting. read more

This review is going to be focused on their hair salon. I have been getting my fair cut here for as long as I can remember. My mom and grandma used to go to Saks salon to get their hair cut with a certain stylist. When she left that salon they followed her here. My stylist has gone through all of my hair phases with me: highlights, long layered dos, chin length bobs, and even a pixie cut that I had for the past year (I'm currently trying to grow my hair out). She's dyed my hair numerous colors and has styled my hair for every wedding, quincenera, homecoming dance, prom, etc and has always been perfect. I will keep getting my hair done here until Rose retires but honestly, I'll probably still come here because the other stylists I've worked with have also done a good job. I've used two other stylists when Rose was on vacation. Both did an equally exceptional job. Yes, this salon is a bit pricey but I think that hair cuts, colors, styling, etc should be one of those things that you should splurge on. Its your hair for Christ's sake! Bad clothes can be returned but there's no going back if your stylist effs up your hair. A good cut is worth every penny. read more

Horrible service. Rude, lazy, and the place is a mess. Bathrooms are dirty, baby changing tables are disgusting. I just don't even go in anymore, unless I parked nearby and need to walk to get to my car. The only reason I might go by is to go straight to the Disney section since it's still better than waiting in line at the Disney store for the same prices! Rating system: 5 stars = I'll drive across town specifically for this, and rave to all my friends about it! 4 stars = Would recommend visiting. 3 stars = Average, acceptable, positive. 2 stars = You might be able to drag me in. 1 star = I will not be returning. read more

The GM for the whole store is lazy. I don't know how she moved up in ranks in her career. She can tell you something, but takes her sweet time to get it done. I truly believe she is only there for a paycheck. She is not there for others to succeed but selfishness. Leadership failure! read more

Ive been a jcpenny salon customer since 2010 and use to have cuts done by crystal and ceasar which were amazing stylist but they both left. I was hesitant about going in recently and asked for a master stylist I forgot her name but she considered a master. So I went in with a pic of an inverted Bob like what's trending and came out with a regular Bob cut. When she pulled out regular scissors instead of a razor I knew she wasn't going to give me what I wanted. Jcpenny salon used to have these young amazing styling who knew the latest trend cuts and now they have stylist there cutting "mom haircuts" no thanks! I won't be returning to this salon. I should have gone to great clips or rios and paid 10$ if I had known I was going to be getting a regular boring bob for $50 SMH read more

I'd like to share my experience with this location and praise Jose Mojica for a job well done! My experience didn't start out the best as there was an issue accepting an online coupon from a well know partner with JcPenney. After escalating the situation to a supervisor on the floor and getting told no I left a little frustrated as I've used this online app before at JCPenney and other retailers. I'm glad I decided to give one last follow up call and got this gem of a person Jose. He was so understanding, empathetic and passionate about finding a resolution! You could tell he was in the right position and truly cared for his customers and their experience. He took my visit personally as you visited his home. Long story short he looked into the issue and got everything taken care of quickly and efficiently. I can't remember the time that I was helped but a manager in such a professional manner! I will definitely return especially with the great care and service that Mr. Mojica bestowed upon me! Great job and Thank You for your passion around taking care of your customers! read more

Terrible service!! A Staff at the cashier counter thought that we were stealing a couple of suits which we had already paid upstairs. I had stuck my receipt's in my purse and it took a few minutes before I could find it. I felt humiliated because I could see the other people staring at us!!Really!! We are senior citizen!!!! We work hard for our money!! After I purchase some more items and pay for this items downstairs the same girl forgot to take the device on my boots!! Of course the alarm came on and Again we were embarrass! She took off the device and we proceeded to exit again and the alarm went off again!! she had forgot to take the device off my sunglasses!! Is she for real!! I do not known if this girl hate to served to us old senior citizen or what!! read more

take your business else where......these folks don't know the basics of sales. shopping for a fathers day gift, they wouldn't match competitor prices and they advertise 10 to 20 percent discount on all watches. Bull...... its only on selected watches. They expect you to use your reward points to lower the price off list price. Went to dicks sporting goods not only did they match the competitor price they also give me their "flash sale discount for fathers day" saving me $75. Will be taking all my business else where. read more

The mens restroom is a disaster! Doors are missing, litter, needs cleaning--Bad experience!!

This is for the Salon I went in to have my hair cut and colored and I have never walked out of a salon so angry and disappointed before! It was my first time at this salon and I can say that I will never go back, or at the very least I will never have Cindy touch my hair again. When she called me to her chair and asked me what I wanted I was very specific in telling her what I wanted. My hair is naturally very thin so I told her I wanted my hair cut to shoulders and layered with straight bangs that ended just below my eyebrows. She then handed me a color book to pick out my color and walked away for 15 minutes. Once she came back I told her what color I wanted and she walked away for another 10 minutes. When she FINALLY came back she started to cut my hair (which you should always have your hair colored then cut). She started out by bluntly cutting my bangs too short and she decided to not section off my hair to cut it right, little by little, but by just combing my hair up and cutting just the ends. She did this maybe 3 times and that was it. The whole process took about two minutes. And I didn't even get the chance to see it before she started slapping hair color onto my head! Again with no sectioning, she literally got the dye onto her brush and just painted my head with it. I had dye on my cheek and inside of my ear!! THEN it came time to rinse it out, I felt like a ragdoll, half of my back ended up so wet! In the end when she finally spun me around to see the finish product I was mortified! My bangs were too short, my hair was too long, she didn't give me any kind of layers AND THEN she had the nerve to tell me (because I noticed that my hair was darker than I wanted) that that wasn't the color I had picked. Her explanation? If she would have colored my hair the brunette color I had picked over my already blonde hair it would have turned green. (I still don't know how that would have happened). Why she didn't tell me this BEFORE she decided to pick out a color FOR me? I have no clue. I tried to tell her everything I didn't like about it but she just seemed like she wanted me out of the chair as soon as possible. Like when I told her I didn't like the straight bangs and to just give side swept bangs all she did was just brush them to the side. -_- So to say the least, I am NOT happy with them at all and I hope that is review will save someone else from the botched job that I got. read more
