Jen is THE Dog whisperer!!!…read more Our Aussie mix has always been a big challenge for us. He is a very reactive dog and would often try to nip any poor soul, human or canine, who was within reach. Walking him was always a problem -- if anyone was on the same sidewalk, we had to change sidewalks. The solution was to walk him at the break of dawn when the streets are empty. We heard about Jen from a friend who recommended her very highly and explained that she was trained by the main man -- Cesar Milan! Jen confirmed this when we met her at Victoria Gardens where she wanted to meet Tuco to assess his behavior. She walked him up and down the busy sidewalks and witnessed for herself his unpredictable behavior when he leaped twice at people for no reason. Jennifer was very confident that she could train him so we left Tuco with her for three weeks. It was the best investment we ever made for him! We got back an unrecognizable Tuco who was so well behaved that he only had to be told a command once before executing! When we picked him up, Jennifer demonstrated his new behavior by walking a big Rottweiler that he didn't know on the same sidewalk. When the dogs passed each other, Tuco kept looking straight and did not engage the Rottie. This would have have been impossible prior to the training. Also, Jen gave us a training collar with a remote. When we put it on him before walks, he knows it's work time and we hardly ever have to correct him. While on vacation, Jen sent daily pictures and videos of Tuco and as time progressed we became more and more shocked with what she was able to do with him, like attending a concert at a public venue with tons of people around him or walking with him at Home Depot and Pet Smart! It is clear to us that Jen deeply cares for Tuco and established a clear bond with him. He's not just another dog getting training -- each dog gets Jen's undivided attention when it's worktime! Our only regret is that we didn't hear about Jen sooner! Tuco is not five and our quality of life and piece of mind would have been so much better if we had trained him sooner. Since that time, we brought in our other dogs to Jen, both American Eskimos, one with a HUGE temper! Again, Jen did her magic and he is the most well-behaved little guy! We can't recommend Jen strongly enough. Regardless of the problem or issues you have with your dog, Jen will take the time to understand his/her motivation and create an effective customized program. My expectations were much higher than the actual results. My puppy was only five months old and…read morelikely too young to master anything beyond 'sit.' She was veterinarian-checked before her one-month stay, but returned very ill, diagnosed with hookworms. It took a month to stop her explosive diarrhea, which even led to seizures. A specialist out of state had to diagnose and treat her condition. After her one-month stay, Heather, the trainer, was unfortunately unwell herself. She dropped off our puppy and then drove away, and we didn't see her for several days. While this wasn't Heather's fault, it left us feeling at a loss. She returned the following week and demonstrated that our puppy would listen to her when she offered treats. I reviewed the training guarantee and called to request a partial refund of the $3,000 we paid. The guarantee states that you are the primary trainer, with Heather there to assist. She told me we must follow her instructions faithfully, that we are the trainers. That was part of the problem; we were not trained in her methods. After she said she would review her notes, we never heard from her again. We did not receive a refund. This experience has been a valuable lesson for us--if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. At least, we endured a costly month of babysitting.

PetSmart has become my new place to buy cat food. It seems harder to find the large cans of food…read morethat are more economical and create less trash, but this store is reliably stocked. It's easy to tell what they have in-store stock, place an online order and pick it up quickly within a couple of hours. Their staff is always very polite and helpful, even though I've noticed they don't seem to have very many people working as they used to. But this store is nice, clean, brightly lit, and seems to be well stocked. They offer a very wide variety of different pet food brands, from cheaper to the most expensive. They have toys, beds, costumes, grooming supplies, cleaning supplies, houses, some first aid and medical necessities. Pretty much covers most everything!

I am so impressed…read more We were both worried about using a dog trainer and letting them take the dog for over a week after the experience we had in 2012 with Marg the dog trainer. Tip Too K9 had the dog for little over a week. He is part hound so he is stubborn to say the least. He came home better but did not want to really listen. The trainer came back out to their house the next week and worked with him again and worked with my daughter and her husband. Again he did better but not quit well and constant. The trainer came back out and took the dog back to keep and train more for over a week again. All this was included in the original cost. Yes the original cost was not cheap but is is well worth it because they keep working with them. Not tacking on more charges. They help you get true results. They brought the dog back home today and the trainer worked at the house with the dog and my daughter for over an hour. Want quality training, people who love what they are doing, love your baby. She was gone for two weeks and came back with more confidence and much easier to handle on a leash. It was night and day.
