First, the positive. The staff at TDR are extremely nice and really seem to truly love animal. So…read morethere's that. Now, the negative. Their prices are incredibly overpriced. Our boarding facility in California: 1. Charges $30 less per day. This is Oklahoma, not California. The prices should be priced accordingly. 2. Has a dedicated play area for each kennel which is considered an indoor/outdoor run. This is open 24/7. 3. The kennel's owner or staff are on the property 24/7. Our issues with TDR is if they really cared about their tenants, they would have staff on duty 24/7 for emergencies. If something happens after 6pm, your pet is screwed. They won't be checked on until 6 the next morning. That is not acceptable in our book. Another issue is our dogs can't hold their urine for 12+ hours and they urinated on their beds. That NEVER happened at our kennel in California. Now, we have to replace 2 expensive dog beds and to top it off, a dog chewed off the corner of their feed container. Our dogs are trained and wouldn't do that. Needless to say, TDR is off of our preferred list of boarding facilities. A sad lesson learned on our part.

I was a longtime customer of this facility, but since the recent change in management (Since…read moreFebruary 2026), I've noticed a significant decline in both care and professionalism. It used to feel welcoming and personal--staff knew our dogs by name and created a sense of trust. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. There has been a high amount of staff turnover in a short time, and employees often seem unfamiliar with the dogs in their care. This lack of consistency raises concerns about training and experience. I'm have concerns about: * Unclear amounts of outdoor playtime versus time spent in kennels. On multiple occasions, I've driven by in the middle of a beautiful day and no dogs were outside playing. * Potential safety issues due to limited and inexperienced staffing. How can you take out multiple groups of dogs to play without adequate supervision? Clients aren't paying for dogs to be shut up in a kennel. We're paying for dogs to play and socialize with adequate supervision As stated in the website. * Late openings due to staff not having access or keys. The facility opens at 7:30 am. Since new management took over, employees have been reporting at 7:30. Sometimes later. Some employees arrive on time, but can't get in because the one with the key isn't there. Any business that OPENS their doors at 7:30 am should expect employees or manager to arrive at 7:00 am or earlier to allow for computers to be turned on for check in, check to see who is coming in for the day, lights on, and most importantly check on dogs that are being boarded Since they've been kenneled all night. Overall, these changes have made it difficult to feel confident in the level of care and safety being provided. With the previous staff, level of care, and customer service I would have given them five stars. Now, it's just not the same. I don't recommend. I'm taking my pup elsewhere.

While I took a husky puppy to obedience training in the '90's and used that knowledge to put nice house manners on my dogs in the years that followed, I had no experience with this ancient guardian breed and knew I wanted to do more with her, including conformation dog shows. I spoke with at least 10 dog trainers in the Tulsa Metro and they unfailingly recommended the same training facility for the multiple training opportunities I was searching for--K9 Manners and More. When our girl was finally in our home and we had also found a Shih Tzu puppy the same age, we enrolled them both in puppy obedience class and also swim lessons. What an amazing experience this was! Our senior golden retriever also took swim lessons and we felt so much better that all three dogs could not only get out of the pool safely if they fell in, but also that our entire household understood how to train our new puppies. When we began the conformation classes with our trainer Kim, we learned far more than how to manage in the show ring; we also learned how to recognize the body language our dogs were expressing. Soon we began training for more than basic obedience and the show ring. Our Tibetan Mastiff bitch enjoyed the training lessons so much that she went on to earn her Puppy STAR Obedience, Canine Good Citizen certification, and Novice Trick Dog! Our Shih Tzu took another class and accompanied us to our private lessons to work on learning more as well. Soon my TM breeder and her granddaughter joined us occasionally for the lessons, and my new friend who had my TM's sister came too! Before we knew it, another breeder asked to join with her TM for some classes. This breed is notorious for being stubborn and difficult to train, and no one else around had any experience with Tibetan Mastiff training, so when people were surprised by how well trained my dog Zaya is, they were excited to take part in lessons with Kim! She helped my breeder's dog Magic get ready for and pass his CGC before he went to Westminster 2026, and helped both Magic and Zaya prepare for and pass their temperament tests. Yet another breeder from across the country heard of Zaya's success with Kim and brought me a puppy with poor socialization and high anxiety. Kim took on this pup as well and has achieved amazing progress with her. She will now accept treats from strangers and allow judges to go over her in the show ring. Zaya has now also completed her Farm Dog Certification and is a therapy dog working with CHAMPS. She is also actively working with me as my service dog. Another friend with Czechoslovakian Vlciaks has been training with K9 Manners and more in multiple disciplines for the last couple of years. She recently began training with us so that I can help show her dogs. The breed doesn't do well with outsiders, but with Kim's direction I was able to show two of her dogs at the 2026 Tulsa Canine Extravaganza. Halo and I even took Best of Breed one day! We could not have achieved all of these accomplishments without Kim and K9 Manners and More. We highly recommend them for all of your dog training aspirations, from group puppy and obedience classes, to agility, scent work, and dock diving, and everything in between. The trainers are outstanding and the pricing is reasonable. My dogs look forward to their time training with K9 Manners and More. So does my family!

I changed my classes for private classes thinking that would work better. The first class was okay, then when we showed up for the second class turns out they scheduled it for "yesterday" and no on bothered to inform us or call us, so sorry. Just not worth it.

Jen is THE Dog whisperer!!!…read more Our Aussie mix has always been a big challenge for us. He is a very reactive dog and would often try to nip any poor soul, human or canine, who was within reach. Walking him was always a problem -- if anyone was on the same sidewalk, we had to change sidewalks. The solution was to walk him at the break of dawn when the streets are empty. We heard about Jen from a friend who recommended her very highly and explained that she was trained by the main man -- Cesar Milan! Jen confirmed this when we met her at Victoria Gardens where she wanted to meet Tuco to assess his behavior. She walked him up and down the busy sidewalks and witnessed for herself his unpredictable behavior when he leaped twice at people for no reason. Jennifer was very confident that she could train him so we left Tuco with her for three weeks. It was the best investment we ever made for him! We got back an unrecognizable Tuco who was so well behaved that he only had to be told a command once before executing! When we picked him up, Jennifer demonstrated his new behavior by walking a big Rottweiler that he didn't know on the same sidewalk. When the dogs passed each other, Tuco kept looking straight and did not engage the Rottie. This would have have been impossible prior to the training. Also, Jen gave us a training collar with a remote. When we put it on him before walks, he knows it's work time and we hardly ever have to correct him. While on vacation, Jen sent daily pictures and videos of Tuco and as time progressed we became more and more shocked with what she was able to do with him, like attending a concert at a public venue with tons of people around him or walking with him at Home Depot and Pet Smart! It is clear to us that Jen deeply cares for Tuco and established a clear bond with him. He's not just another dog getting training -- each dog gets Jen's undivided attention when it's worktime! Our only regret is that we didn't hear about Jen sooner! Tuco is not five and our quality of life and piece of mind would have been so much better if we had trained him sooner. Since that time, we brought in our other dogs to Jen, both American Eskimos, one with a HUGE temper! Again, Jen did her magic and he is the most well-behaved little guy! We can't recommend Jen strongly enough. Regardless of the problem or issues you have with your dog, Jen will take the time to understand his/her motivation and create an effective customized program. Jen is THE BEST!!!
