I had a friend bring his jeep to u guys, and ur techs r not doing the work they be paid to do. they are taking short cuts on the work. he had a headlight put in and ur techs used electrial tape and Zipties to hook the head light up. so now when he drives and hits a light cuts off. to me that put people who care about cars and trucks, don't do Shitty work. i won't ever bring my car or truck to ever again. read more

We were looking for a company to apply PPF to our new vehicle. We called and spoke to Jeremy who identified himself as the store manager. After a brief conversation to determine if they could provide this service we drove the 40 miles to their location. Jeremy went over the details of application and price. We accepted the quote, booked a date and made a deposit. We indicated this was our only vehicle and was told they get a corporate discount with enterprise and would take us to pick up a car. We asked if we need to contact enterprise as was told NO. The day we were to drop off the car Jeremy was not there. A woman, name unknown was there. After we explained why we were there she proceeded to ask for all of our information again. Seemed strange as we had already provided this information to Jeremy. We told her that Jeremy was supposed to be there with his truck to show us the PPF installed on his windshield. We waited close to 2 hours only to be told that Jeremy was on a job and wouldn't be in. We were told they would take us to the car rental in our vehicle. This was unsettling but agreed. Got to enterprise car rental only to be told they had no cars to rent us. At one point they tried to rent us our own vehicle!!! At this point we had had enough, told the woman we were canceling and wanted our deposit refunded. She said to drop her off at the Chevy dealer and she would get a ride back to JC Customs from her boyfriend. I guess she didn't trust us to drive her safely back to her workplace. We refused told her we were all going back together so we would have a receipt for our refund. There was no apology given, no attempt to make things right. Jeremy made no attempt to reach out to us. The customer service is nonexistent with JC Customs. If you're looking for a company for PPF applications keep looking, this company is not worth hiring. read more

I just had power running boards put on my 2017 GMC Denali at JC Customs. My salesman was Jonathan M. He was very knowledgeable about the product and delivered on everything that I was told. The installation was done by JC's installation experts and the finished job turned out great. I have been dealing with JC's for quite a few years and have always been treated fairly. Took my van (for childcare) to have a "Remind Child" safety horn installed on 6/9/25. Appointment was at 1:00pm and on the way to the shop, my radio was in proper working condition. Both sound and radio were properly functioning. Mind you I purchased the van on May 21, 2025 from the Ford dealership, which provided a clean inspection bumper to bumper as well as inside. When I picked up the van (afterhours) I noticed that the radio was not working. well the radio turned on, but there was no sound. I took the van back to JC's Customs as soo as they opened (8:00am) the following day to inform them that there was an issue with the radio. They stated that they would look into the issue and call me to let me know. I received a call from the manager (a male) informing me that they checked the radio and everything that they could possibly think of and they couldn't find anything on (THEIR PART). He stated that the radio was not out, but it was the sound. I stated "everything was working properly prior to drop off on yesterday and now we have no radio for our kids to listen to while riding." I am very upset and overwhelmed. Their reviews are what drew me to them; however, I didn't think that they would just send me off with a radio that was working prior to leaving and now it's not and there is nothing (so they say) they can do. I was told that there was nothing they could do and that I would probably need to take it back to the Ford dealership and see what they can do. They stated that sometimes older vehicles (it's a 2015) tend to have technology difficulties. I would suggest if you take your vehicle here to do a walkthrough of everything with the tech prior to leaving it because I promise you, there should be no reason that we are now without our Disney music. read more

I recently had this business install a trailer hitch receiver w/wiring harness and a electric brake control. First off the brake control was attached to the dashboard via peel and stick and keeps popping off, then I noticed a metal rattling sound in the end of vehicle and found that the technician had unhitched a muffler hanger and failed to reattach it, while under the vehicle I also found that they had screwed a screw into my spare tire compartment to ground the wiring harness and the screw was already lose and won't tighten ( should have been connected to a solid ground) and they ran the wires up the bottom center of the vehicle where they are exposed to road debris, and the wires are attached to underside of vehicle with peel and stick hangers! This is not the workmanship JC's customs was known for years ago. Paid $425.00 labor for a subpar job. read more

This is the 2nd time I went to JC customs to attempt to get a car radio, the 1st time from the moment I walked in the door I was greeted as if they did not want me there, so I got the quote I wanted and did not do business with them, so two weeks ago I bought a new vehicle and went back to JC's and again from the moment I walked in the door no one offered to help and again I felt as they did not want me in their establishment, (I would hate to think that me being me had something to do with it) so I finally met someone I totally forgot his name and I told him that I wanted a quote for radio for a 2021 Dodge Ram, he spoke to a guy with a beard he may have been the owner, who was standing right next to him, the guy with the beard did not look me in my face he just talked to the Original person I was talking to. and he said he would have to make some calls to get part numbers ETC. Now like I said this was two weeks ago and still no call. Please know that I waited before typing this, but its ok I took my business elsewhere, I would NOT visit them again or even consider them, Id rather go to Lakeland or Orlando for customization of a vehicle, as I said I really hope the way I looked did not play a part of why my experience was so horrible. read more

Very pleased with the 3M window tint installation on my GMC Yukon. The Best part is they stand behind their guarantee and re-tinted a window that had bubbled up after several years. I wanted both front windows to be crisp and matching so I asked how much to re-tint the drivers side. It had nicks from the seat belt and light wear no fault of theirs . JC's Custom has shown time and time again that the customer comes FIRST. My first experience was buying amp power cable. They made sure I got COPPER and not CCA. I needed some extra parts and they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Let's fast forward a bit... after some horrible experiences with another vendor jacking up a simple cover install for my truck, Kyle went above and beyond to get the warranty transferred to them and they handled things by making sure we got a whole new cover put on. Of course, he asked that I pay for the labor since they weren't the installer, but they charged hardly nothing and now guarantee something that wasn't even bought through them. Kyle is more than a sales rep. He is a personal Custom Concierge. I know my car audio, I know ICE damn well.. but this guy puts it above a job, he puts it as a passion. He has helped me choose the right steps, leveling kit, air bags, tires and rims for the truck. Not ONE thing has come back with any issues. When they say it'll take X hours, that's EXACTLY how long it takes. I'm picky about customization, and knowing the electrical side of vehicles, I won't be BSed. I recommend this place to my mom after hearing and reading good reviews. My mom wanted her windows tinted and a security alarm installed in her brand NEW ClassC RV. I was horrified when I saw the damage they did to her dash and cup holder area! I can't imagine how this happened, to make things worse they didn't tell her. They say "ok your all set, heres the bill" and she payed, goes to her vehicle and wtf! This is a $90k Rv NEW!! She only had it two weeks! They only gave her $100 back and it's insulting! The dash alone is almost $500! Beware women! This place will take advantage! They did to my 64yrd mom! I took my 2010 Dodge Challenger in for a new stereo and speakers. I got a call shortly after dropping it off stating nothing was wrong with the speakers except that they were not installed correctly to begin with. Heads up and look else where. I had this company do a few things to my brand new truck. Everything they did had to be fixed. First, the window tinting had to redone because it did not take to a couple windows. Second, the bed rug would not stay in place on the tailgate and I had to take the truck back to have that issue resolved. Third, the bed cover would not lay flat and was pulling the plastic guards on the sides of the bed were being pulled up from the bed. I had to take my truck back a few times to have them try and fix the problem. I was clear about no drilling or cutting on my brand new truck. But the last time I was in a couple weeks ago; someone took it upon themselves to drill and place rivets in my brand new truck. They never asked me if they could ruin my truck. As far as I know they did not even seal the rivets and so now they have compromised my truck to rust. The guy who handed me my key on the last visit was rude and unprofessional. He does not talk to you but at you. He thinks women are stupid and beneath him. read more

First truck I took in was 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. I had them install fog lights, interior lights mudflaps and window tint. The work was done correctly. But the way I was treated was as if I was an imbecile. I'm a senior citizen. And I feel as though I was talked down to. Or I was wasting the clerks time. I'm always willing to give a person a second chance. So I took in my 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 in and had a bedliner install, and tinted windows. After paying the bill I went out to check the bedliner and there was a hump on the left side. The young man behind the counter told me to put a cement block or something heavy on it and leave it out in the sun and it should take care of it. After several weeks of doing this in 90 degree whether the hump was still there. So I went back and asked them to replace it or give me my money back. They replaced it but when I got my truck back I had cat pawl prints all over the top of the truck. Also the bedliner still had a hump in it and was worse than the first one. I went in and talked to the young man behind the counter, who was very dismissive, and just short of being rude. He told me to do the same thing that I had done with the other one. I gave up. I know I shouldn't have but I did. Does anybody need a bedliner for a GMC with a hump in it. I will never go back, I'm sorry I didn't get the good treatment that other people say that they got. I explained the situation about the hump in the bed liner, and the way I feel I was treated They were very apologetic. The man on the phone asked me if I would bring the truck in at 2 o'clock the next afternoon and they would replace it. Now please understand, this Bedliner was installed over a year ago. Who replaces a defective part that's been in use for over a year. Well "JC's customs, that's who. I was absolutely blown away. They were very courteous and respectful it took less than 15 minutes. They were very busy and worked me in any way. The young man at the counter walked me out to make sure that I was satisfied with the new bedliner, and apologized again. I mean who does that. I've got to say I believe they deserve a second chance and another look. I'm having more work done on the truck, Fog lights and interior lights and I'll be sure and have them do it.
