Cute little bar with quick tasty food and friendly service. Plenty of tvs to watch sports. The menu is small but nothing wrong with that. A burger and fry place with an open kitchen. My burger was so juicy and hot right off the grill top. The usual burger toppings of lettuce, tomato and onion. The fries are good. They have a few other choices like a chicken sandwich or pork burger. And different daily specials. The spicy Bloody Mary was yummy with a bunch of extras like olives, celery, pickle, onion, and jalapeño peppers. If you're in the mood for a good burger & fries stop in. They have video gaming too.

This place serves up a pretty decent burger and fries. Add a cold can of Budweiser to the double double with fries and you have a good filling meal for under $10.00. The staff and regulars are all real nice too.

We have driven past this place numerous times and never stopped. They have a sign outside saying how many burgers they have sold and we wanted to help get them closer to 100,000 - over 99,778 so far. Its a small place, but very cozy. We ordered the double double with cheese and fries for each of us. Prices are good and you can order a beer to go along with your order. She made them on the grill right in front of us. If you like Steak n Shake burgers - these will put those to shame! These burgers were awesome and we will definitely be coming back!

I saw they had home made cinnamon rolls, so I ordered one split - my wife and I both enjoyed it. Yum! I had their Italian Beef Sandwich. It was served with au jus, and had cheese on it. It was very filling. The French fries were fresh and tasted great. My wife had their Cindy's Corned Beef Hash with 2 Eggs over Medium (you get to pick the way you want your eggs. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I had orange juice, coffee, and the green omelet with ham and onions. It was very good. I wish the feta in the omelet was a little more melted to create a creamy goodness but it wasn't. Overall the omelet was good but better with a good creamy inside. The pancakes were good too. If your looking for a place to grab breakfast this would be a good choice. I would recommend to eat here.

Time for an update! A lot has changed since 2017…read more We have a new favorite appetizer - It's a flatbread that is made with naan, and includes sun dried tomatoes, feta cheese, balsamic glaze, and sashimi grade salmon, with some shredded greens. O M G! The flavors on this one just pop! The feta works with the naan, which is firm enough to support the toppings without being crisp or hard. The flavors blend together so well, it may very well displace our prior favorite, spicy battered cauliflower. On to the main course. My wife selected their shrimp tacos, which provided 4 tacos on white tortillas, with sour cream and guacamole. She really enjoyed the flavor. I tried the new Greek burger, which was a burger with red onions, feta again, and a large burger I ordered medium rare which actually came medium rare. The feta worked with the other flavors and that burger was GOOD. Very tasty, very tender, and it went down well. For drinks, my wife had their Tito's Mule, and I had their Dogfish Crimson Cru, both of which were very good. Service was prompt and attentive. The restaurant has an old west / USMC ambiance, that works well. The staff and the menu changes are definitely on par with changes in the past - that add value and taste. If you haven't tried Remington's yet because it is in downtown Malta (blink - you missed it), I'm here to tell you, this continues to be a gem where you can get some really excellent food.

Other than having to deal with a freight train that stopped on the tracks right as we were trying to get to the restaurant from the theater, and having to go way out to the west end of town to get around it, everything about our experience was superb! I'm pretty sure we were seated by the owner, who was amazing to talk to. You could tell she loved what she did and what they provide to their customers. She put us in the charge of the bartender, who brought our drinks, took our orders, and checked on us regularly throughout the meal, even though she was doing double duty. We had a large lunch, so we weren't going to eat much for dinner. As soon as I read the menu I realized I was going to have a hard time deciding, but I love cinnamon ice cream, so I knew I needed to leave enough room for dessert. I ended up ordering the grilled cheese, which came with bacon (hold the tomato), and the homemade chips as my side. Everything was delicious. I brought half of my meal home, and it was just as delicious when reheated with my air fryer a few days later. My husband had the Acres Pretzel, which was huge and yummy. (I had a bite to try it!) The cheese sauce with it was thinner than expected, but very good. We started out with a Manhattan for me and some Lena Brewing caramel pecan coffee stout for him. Mine was perfectly crafted, and I took a sip of his, which was also yummy. In addition to my cinnamon ice cream, we each had a dessert drink. He had the Chocolate Caramel Kiss, and I had the Banana Bread. Again, very yummy. The cost of all of this came to under $75, which we thought was marvelous. Coming out from the city, the prices here are definitely more reasonable and much appreciated! We have this restaurant on our radar now, so anytime we are out this way again, we will head there. We are already making plans to come out and see a show next summer, if not before that. To the owner and all the other staff, thanks for such a lovely experience! You have a wonderful establishment!

Everyone Deserves a second Chance…read more I visited PSB on my lunch because they have a Plant based Gyro and that in itself is very difficult to find. They were steady for lunch but not nearly as busy as I expected at 1230 on a Friday. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was very nice. She was very polite and attentive. I ordered the one thing I came for (obviously), and was surprised by how quickly It was ready. Something I appreciated as I was on lunch at work, so I had limited time to begin with. The Gyro was delicious! I got their pickled onions on the side as I wasn't sure how strong they'd be. They were actually very good and an excellent compliment to the gyro itself. The Gyro was served with Potato Wedges. These I could have done without, they differed in size so the cook was drastically different depending on which one you got. The small ones were almost over done and the large ones weren't cooked enough. The Sandwich was definitely the highlight of my meal. This place is so cool, Such a beautiful building with amazing outdoor seating. My other complaint is the price. $20+ for a sandwich (after tax) is outrageous. I am very happy to have tried it, It was delicious. I most likely won't go back for that sandwich though. Too many options around at a fraction of the price. This place definitely deserves to be tried by everyone. They are one of the best spots in all of Rockford.
