What truly stands out is how patient and understanding the coaches are. They never push him too hard but instead gently encourage him to join in at his own pace, which has made such a difference for him. You can tell they genuinely care about each child and want them to feel comfortable and confident. Because of their approach, my son has slowly started opening up more, and that means everything to us. I've not lived in Tulsa long and a lot of this area is new to me. As soon as I got to Cohesion BJJ and Judo I met the owner Steve. He was amazing! He answered all my questions I had about the academy and BJJ and trust me I had a lot of questions. Steve is patient and kind. When all the other people got there they all spoke about how they have so much fun there and how they have learned so much from Steve. It was like joining a family. My first lesson from Steve was great. He is a wonderful professor. He explained everything. I now know the difference between BJJ & Judo. You can tell that this is his passion because of his knowledge, ability to speak about the art, and his professionalism. We cannot say enough good things about Chief Master Hammons, his wife Tracy, and all of the wonderful people that make up their outstanding staff. Our daughter will turn 6 this month and has been taking classes since February. In her classes, we have noticed that the instructors engage her in a fun and sometimes silly manner while still demanding that she show respect and discipline. Her character continually improves as a result of their dedication to teach not only the fundamentals of Tae kwon do, but also the character traits she needs to succeed in life. They create a fun-filled environment where she can learn martial arts. We are very pleased with the school and plan on enrolling another of one our daughters this winter. We would recommend Martial Arts Advantage to anyone; even if they aren't considering martial arts. The skills learned and character built are important for all children and can only make them better in anything they decide to pursue. We love our MAA family!

I was required to sign a contract that clearly stated there was a 90-day cancellation provision…read more Now that I've submitted my 90-day notice, they're refusing to honor the very terms they required me to sign. It should not be this difficult to cancel a child's membership. Instead of respecting their own agreement, they're making the process unnecessarily complicated. Families deserve transparency and businesses should honor the contracts they ask customers to sign. This has been an extremely disappointing experience.
