What started as a promising deal quickly turned into a nightmare. I strongly recommend avoiding…read morethis dealership. I live in Pennsylvania, about 4 hours away. I contacted the dealership about a Dodge Charger and was told they could ship the car to me. We worked out the numbers, and all paperwork listed the mileage as 56,194. That number matters, because it's central to the problems that followed. I closed the deal on August 15, put down a large down payment, and sent in my bank funding paperwork. Documents were signed electronically, except for the POA, which I overnighted back. On August 19, I followed up and discovered the dealership hadn't even started arranging transport. On August 21, after threatening to cancel the deal, they suddenly secured a transporter, and the car was delivered late that night @2215. When I got home from my 24-hour shift on August 22 and inspected the vehicle, the problems were obvious: * The odometer read 59,025, not 56,194 -- a difference of 2,831 miles. Since the car was shipped on a trailer, this mileage discrepancy cannot be explained and constitutes a material misrepresentation of mileage, potentially a violation of federal odometer disclosure laws (49 CFR § 580). * The vehicle was delivered on empty, with the gas light on. * The interior was filthy: old French fries in the seats, adhesive residue on the windows, scuffed carpets sprayed with black paint instead of cleaned. * The windows were smeared, and sticker glue was still etched into the glass. * The exterior had scratches and buffer damage on the rear bumper that were not disclosed in the video provided. This vehicle was absolutely not detailed, despite the dealership's claims. When I complained, the dealership offered me $200 for gas and cleaning. A full tank alone was $58, and a professional detail was $250 -- so their "solution" didn't even cover the basics. They also said I could return the car for a refund, but I would be stuck with expenses I've already incurred: insurance, gas, detailing, and shipping costs to return the car. I requested a fair price adjustment to account for the mileage misrepresentation and condition issues, which they refused. I have since filed complaints with the West Virginia Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for deceptive trade practices and mileage fraud. The dealership has been unprofessional throughout, even becoming hostile when I requested all communication in writing for legal documentation. Bottom line: this dealership misrepresented mileage, delivered a dirty and damaged vehicle, and refused to resolve the issue in good faith. Buyers beware; I would not trust them with your money or your time.
