They brought sample boards during the estimate process so I could actually see the finish before committing, and they even accommodated my last-minute color change with no issues. I also asked to switch my knobs to pulls and they took care of it. Everything included/excluded was clearly explained before the project started, so there were no surprises. This time, we decided to move forward with a project Luis recommended: refinishing one of the wood laminate kitchen countertops in our rental unit. Initially, I expected the result to look like a simple repaint, especially considering how worn and faded the laminate surface had become. However, once I saw the finished work, I could hardly believe my eyes. It genuinely looked as though we had replaced the countertop with granite. The finish appeared solid, durable, and waterproof. It was difficult finding a granite repair source because the sources I found and called or messaged…read moredidn't return my phone call. I waited a few weeks and tried again and finally got in touch with Manuel at Stone Polish. We settled on a date and I confirmed the day earlier to make sure he was still coming. He messaged me back quickly and the next day he showed up 20 minutes early. We discussed the situation and the process for repairing the granite behind the sink. About two hours later he was finished. It's significantly better than what it was. There were a number of granite chunks and pieces that were loose plus, some of the metal reinforcement was so bad, it had disintegrated. Manuel reused some of the larger pieces and used epoxy to blend in some of the other areas. All in all, we're very happy with the outcome. Manuel was very personable and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

The good news is they fixed all the problems ... well, mostly. The bad news is that there were just so many problems, causing endless delays. Staff was not available; planning was improvised and sloppy (requiring work to be redone again and again); work quality was indifferent. In the end I had to finish the clean-up, and I'm still fishing loose steel screws out of the cabinet shelves. Delays turned the promised 3-day job into 8 working days spread over two weeks, leaving us with no kitchen and a house mess for much longer than we planned. In the end, we got our kitchen cabinets resurfaced, and it looks fine. But what a frustrating, amateur road we travelled to get there. Cannot recommend this outfit.
