We had a custom wood door made at Ganal but they made it with wood and partial MDF which forced us to have to paint instead of stain it. We wanted it to look like natural wood but the way it was built complicated this. We called several companies and Finished Pro's reviews and service won the bid. We recently had the pleasure of having Finishes Pro restore our iconic Mid Century Modern wood front door along with restoring and finishing a long pine fence, some acacia wood outdoor furniture and a few other items. We were about to give up on our front door since we continued to have trouble with paint adhering in the hot sun. Raul and his team were amazing; professional, courteous, responsive and real pros. They took everything down to bare wood, properly prepped and then painted or stained. With all the sanding the work area was always clean since high efficiency filters were used. The whole process was painless with the team efficiently tackling every project with precision and attention to detail. At the end of the day the team cleaned everything up nicely and ensured the house was secure by reinstalling the front door. We were first a little hesitant since the front door would be completely off a lot of the time but the team ensured the front entry was covered while working and secure at the end of the day. All the work was done right at our house in Woodland Hills. Our 1962 door is now perfectly restored and operates much better, our side fence is protected and looks amazing and our outdoor furniture looks better than new. Our wood siding was very weathered and wood looked in terrible condition. We hired contractors/painters a year prior to do the sealing but they didn't do a good job. This review is seven years overdue! Finishes Pro rebuilt our backyard deck seven years ago, and the quality has truly stood the test of time. The structure stayed solid, beautiful, and incredibly well-crafted -- even after years of use and exposure to the elements. At the same time, they also replaced the back fence and restored the older fence along the side of the yard. Both turned out wonderfully and still look great years later. We have not had to do any maintenance on them at all!
