I tried their BLT dog and their Clevelander dog while my wife tried their Chicago dog. I will say as a Chicago native that they did a solid job on the hot dog but it doesn't compare to a Chicago dog just because it's missing the poppy seed hot dog bun and the celery salt that's topped on it as well. Their prices were pretty great though. I do enjoy that this business is family owned. Even though the place is old and beaten up in some places it was worth checking out. They never disclose why they were closing but this place opens up in the middle of the evening and you get to choose if you want to play games or not . It was unlimited games for $5 a person. The drink prices that they had weren't too bad at all they had a few hard ciders that I really enjoyed. Staff here was absolutely friendly and helpful with us. This place was absolutely packed! For a really large groups they have other tables as well. The staff puts away the games too because everything is all categorized their way so that way when guests return items nothing gets mixed in a bunch. They aren't trying to be trendy (which is refreshing!) and there is just such a sense of nostalgia here. I've never tried their food, but they have a massive sundae menu and everything I've tried, ice cream wise, has been good. The peanut butter cup ice cream is my favorite (milk chocolate base with chunks of peanut butter throughout) and their hot fudge is great. Most sundaes have two sizes (large and small) and their large still isn't quite what I'd consider "large" but I have no real qualms. Service was good as well on my most recent visit.
