We've been coming to Tim's for decades and it's always fantastic. We went tonight for Fish Fry Friday's and it was packed due to lent season. They told us the wait time would be around 45 minutes we decided to stay and only waiting 15 minutes before we were seated. We were greeted my our waitress and she was absolutely awesome! We ordered their House Onion Rings to share at the table. Tim's is Famous for Fish and it's was just as great today as back in the day. If you're craving great fish, Tim's Tavern is the best in the area hands down.

Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and even said she enjoyed the food at Tim's. She recommended what she had before, you don't find that as often at restaurants where employees eat the food. It was refreshing. The fish sandwich was absolutely delicious as were the hush puppies. It was busy for a Sunday afternoon but it didn't take long at all to get our food.

I really liked the perch with it's nice texture and breading. Nice service, when I what they gave me free hush puppies! Ok Ambiance, not the best but the food make up for it. Over all very good

The place has declined over the past few years. The prices have increased, and the potions have decreased. I even asked about the wing size before I ordered, and was told the wings were large. Not only have the prices increased, but the credit card fees are included in the price. A 3 piece fish dinner and 10 piece wings cost over 40.00 with tip. It will probably be my last visit unfortunately. The place hasn't even been upgraded.

    Excellent clam chowder

We've been coming here for years. The fish and shrimp have always been tasty and reasonably priced. Service has been excellent. Wednesday nights is Seniors' Night and prices are 25% off.. A large salad is included. The alternative is cole slaw or a vegetable. The hush puppies are warm and crunchy They are plentiful as well. There is one peculiarity- If you ask for hush puppies on a to go order, they charge for them and they are expensive. If you dine in, you can have as many as you want for free. The clam chowder is consistently good This is one of our favorite place for a quick tasty meal. With regard to ambiance, you might say there is none, but at these prices and good food, who cares?

One of the advantages of having a motorcycle that gets over 60mpg is that it the weather is good after a rainy morning and I want to try a new place I can check out Yelp and then take a ride; that is what I did on a Spring Monday afternoon and I ended up at Tim's Tavern in Canton. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood near Meyers Lake it can be easy to miss Tim's, but is is worth finding it. According to its website Tim's has been around in one form or another since 1957 and has been famous for fish. Tim's is a bit nondescript from the outside with a large parking lot around it. Inside there is a dining room to the right and the large bar room to the left which is where they were serving when I was there. The bar area has a great kind of dive bar feel with old wood, tile floor, low ceiling and red stacking chairs; a casual atmosphere to be sure. The menu is fish and seafood heavy along with burgers and chicken, with many different ways of enjoying each protein. I was just a bit late for the 3pm cutoff for lunch so I ended up ordering the beer battered fish dinner since that is what they are famous for. The dinner comes with 2 sides and hushpuppies. After only a couple of minutes out came the basket of hushpuppies with whipped honey butter. These were some of the best hushpuppies I have had, freshly fried with a crispy exterior and a golden inside. These were not as dense as most hushpuppies I have had, the corn flavor comes through and there are kernels of corn that give a pop of sweetness. Combined with the honey butter I saved most of these as a great finish to the dinner. Shortly after the fish dinner came out, two nice sized thick fillets of fish a huge pile of home fries and rice pilaf. The fish was excellent, fresh Cod with a perfect Beer Batter expertly fried; the fish was mild and flaky, the batter crispy and flavorful. This was some of the best fried fish I have had in North East Ohio. The home fries and rice pilaf were both what you would expect, well prepared and very generous portions. Tim's Tavern really impressed me, a nice comfortable atmosphere, good service and both the fried fish and hushpuppies were some of the best I have had. I will definitely be back. If you are in the Canton area it is near both the NFL Hall of Fame and the McKinley Presidential Library, but well worth seeking out if you want some good eats.

On a recent visit to Canton our friends recommended this restaurant to us for lunch or dinner. It doesn't look like a traditional restaurant from the outside. It looks like they have expanded from the original bar. But it was a very large open space with tables and booths. Our lovely young server was very friendly and very attentive. We love the food and would recommend it to others. Next time we are in town we will visit here again.

The fish was pretty greasy. Not too much seasoning in the breading. Not like it used to be.

We were seated immediately upon arrival and greeted by a very friendly waitress. She explained that Table Six is a family-owned business, which we always appreciate because we love supporting local, small businesses. She also let us know that everything is made to order and brought out as it's finished. The only aspect we didn't love was that the food arrived as it was completed rather than all at once. While we understand that's part of their made-to-order approach, it's not our preferred dining style. We were unable to eat together without one of us having cold food. The food came out about 10 minutes apart. Based on our waitress's recommendation, we ordered the Roasted Brussels Tacos and the T6 Smash Burger. Both were flavorful and satisfying, and we were happy with our choices. For dessert, we ordered the Peanut Butter Brownie Sundae and The Elvis, a banana pudding dessert with peanut butter. We took both to go and discovered later that the peanut butter topping was accidentally left off The Elvis. While that was disappointing, the banana pudding itself was absolutely delicious and still enjoyable. Between the warm service, family-owned atmosphere, and tasty food, Table Six left a positive impression on us. Despite the small dessert mix-up, we'd definitely return if we're ever back in the area.

Upon entering, there is a kiosk to your left for quick "line free" ordering or you can choose to head to the front where a friendly cashier will assist you. All of the burgers and sandwiches are priced separately. For example, the Cheesy Burger is $8.49, but you can variations of combo add ons like tator tots and a drink (add $6.99) to make it a meal deal. The Cheesy Burger was unique with four slices of cheese and an inverted bun (bun flipped outsides in). I added the tator tots and regular drink for $6.99. The tator tots come with a choice of sauce. I highly recommend the chipotle mayo for dipping, but may be too overpowering on a burger. The downside to the Cheesy Burger was the grease dripping down your hand as you're trying to eat it. However, it all adds to the awesome experience. The drink area was your typical Coca Cola options with a side drink area of various lemonades. I tried the Strawberry Hibiscus Lemonade which was tart and delicious. As far as overall experience, order food at the kiosk or the counter and have a seat. The food and shakes will be brought out to you. The signage advertises hand scooped shakes. The staff is friendly and always smiling (atleast during our visit). Service was ok at best, didn't make any attempt to recommend anything or suggest something for first time diners. Just stood there until we ordered something. This place was dead, so you'd think it would be spotless. Our table was dirty with crumbs and ketchup smeared on the empty napkin holder. There was trash on the floor and dishes stacked above the garbage ( we were the ONLY diners the entire and after when we walked over to NBC ). Overall the place was pretty dirty considering there was no business. Would I be back, the prices didn't match the portions and they place was dead and dirty. This used to be SMOKE and I miss it. It's a hard 2/5 for me.

With that being said, I had high hopes for Best Burger from reading reviews and being recommended it over & over. I asked friends recently on social media about their favorite burger and most of them recommended Best Burger. My order was: Bacon Cheeseburger with these customization changes (no onion, add ketchup, add mayo). I also love tator tots so I ordered a side of them. The burger was the blandest burger I've ever had. I was expecting their Best Burger sauce and the charbroil flavor to swipe me off my feet. The burger Pattie's were bland and I don't recall tasting any sauces whatsoever even if they were present. The burger had no seasoning or flavor, I'm shocked. The tator tots tasted like your ordinary Tator tots from another basic place even like Sonic. No seasoning!!! I'm sooo glad I didn't order for the whole family or take them because it was a big disappointment. Before tip, the order being Door Dashed was $21. Save your money!
