I recently had my 23 year old windows and front door replaced. This past winter with a week of sub zero temps, I could feel breezes coming through like my windows were open. It was time. I brought in a few companies to provide quotes and JDM was very competitive. I went with the Harvey Classic windows and had them do all 16 windows. The crew the did the install was led by Tom who was incredibly nice and very informative about what they would be doing. The job was done very cleanly with virtually zero cleanup needed for me and my wife. The difference between what I had and have now is so significant that I can't believe I waited as long. The outside trim work looks wonderful and the inside window sills and trim look way more finished than what I had before. The process was easy and I had lots of options to choose from. They even gave me ideas on what to do about a crank out window that used to interfere with my deck. The new side slider provides so much more light and and easy to open and close. I was looking for someone to replace my windows and add vinyl siding for my home. I found some reviews for JDM Siding and Windows that were very impressive. I reached out to Jim @ JDM Siding and Window. He called me right back. We chatted about what I wanted to do, and he came right out to take measurements. While he was here, I had some concerns about possible termite damage under my existing exterior, and he eased my mind letting me know that they could take care of whatever they found. He was great at helping me choose my siding color which was not easy for me. His team was great. They came when they said and cleaned up when they were done for the day. I had them removed the brick from the front of my house which was not an easy chore and there was in fact termite damage. They took care of everything. I love my new windows, and the vinyl siding came out great. I love the new color. They did such a great job, I had them come back to replace my brick front stairs with a small porch which came out great. I will be adding shutters next. James Meagher and his crew at JDM Siding and Window did an excellent job replacing all the siding, gutters, a MBR big window, and addressing rotten wood over our entire 70 year old home. Jim is a take charge kind of guy. He and his crew have been doing this for many years so he knows what needed for the job. If you want someone to get the work done without a lot of back and forth, Jim is your guy. No fuss, no muss. A good price and get it done. If you want someone that is touchy-feely with a lot of hand holding, Jim is not for you. If you want a local guy you can trust - Jim is it. They also did a roof layover over our workshop and it looks fantastic. Jim, Mark, and Sully each have 30+ years experience. I could not be happier with the end result. Can you find cheaper yes, can you find better quality, no. Jim knew what we wanted and did not oversell. We are very happy with the product and installation. What started as windows and siding has led to gutters, and now a kitchen and bathroom remodel.
